fuck me, i didn't even know that tenty was a word lol i just was struggling so much and typing in random stuff and it didn't turn red so i was like "okay i guess if it accepts it, it's in the dictionary and could be the answer"

also, continuing in the trend of it not accepting foreign words, i tried Tengu but it didn't accept it

this was my worst dordle yet even though i felt i was super on track at guess 4

Most of you won't get this one for quite a few hours, so comments in spoilers...

Closest I have been to a 2 so far, should have tried the actual answer instead with my second guess, just wanted to nail down where the yellow letter from my first guess was by including it twice - it was only in the word once.

Got the Dordle in 6. Fortunately was on the right side of a 50/50 this time.

Woven or Woken could've worked for the 2nd word so I saved it to see if I could get a 1st word guess with either K or V. Couldn't think of a valid word though at least I guessed right. Genty was a guess word attempting to find something that worked with the available letters.

New York Times just bought wordle for a "low 7 figure amount". Time to move on to something else, good for the guy who made it getting paid.

This just shows how desperate companies are for content. 7 figures, really?!? Glad for the guy who made it though.

NYT would be stupid to paywall Wordle, but you never know.

The game's general concept is public-domain; it used to be a game show (https://youtu.be/DbgD4rIr9oM?t=562). The only thing they really bought is the name Wordle and probably the general design of the specific web page. They can't shut down unofficial Wordles just for using the game mechanics.
