And how was it?

Archive 81 for me, a mind-screw (kinda) mystery series with a guy restoring old tapes from an apartment that was burned down in a fire. Overall, it was pretty enjoyable though the solution to the mystery might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Currently watching the latest season of Ozark. It's a good show and people compare it to Breaking Bad because of drugs and mild mannered dad "breaking bad" but it never really achieves BB status. I'd still recommend for anyone looking for a depressing drama.

Before that was Cobra Kai which rules if you're okay with shutting your brain off and watching a bunch of teens karate fight each other.

The House

New stop-motion anthology dark comedy / kinda horror film about three distinct generations of people living in the same house in different time periods, battling their inner demons in the process. It's early yet but I can already see this being my favorite film of the year. It is brilliantly creative and intensely weird, and tragically funny, it at times feels like the worst fever dream you ever had, and the whole time I had this pit in my stomach because each main character is relatable with goals and dreams and watching them spiral out into horrific despair makes you want to reach out and help them. There is light though, because despite the individual tragedies on display the last story ends on a rather sweet and wholesome message which makes the journey so worth it. I highly recommend this film for any fans of stop-motion animation or weird, horror-adjacent stuff that captures highly human feelings.

latest batch of Shaman King episodes

I've always loved the original series although honestly completely blank out the back half of it but this series I'm a lot more engaged with.

current batch though kinda dragged a bit... and when you look at the overall plot of what's actually accomplished with these episodes it's uhhh lackluster for sure

Neverending Story (US) - it was really awful and the only thing that saved it was a five minute synth bender an hour in.

Before that was Hotel Del Luna, a Korean romantic comedy with light horror and gore elements.

Just started Witcher Season 2 yesterday. It's good.

Before that, we finished up Lost in Space. It's silly how every episode has at least half the cast in a new life or death situation, but the visuals and effects are still very nice and made it entertaining.

I've only seen the first 3 episodes but it's good fun! The sound effects leave a little bit to be desired but the characters are interesting enough. I think it strikes a good balance between comedy and drama.

This is my first Korean tv show. I've stuck to movies until now.

The Silent Sea. I really like video games where you explore abandoned space stations, so this sounded right up my alley. It was alright, but I wanted more focus on figuring out what happened at the station + a more complicated mystery than it turned out to be.

Hell yes, such a great show. Halfway through I realized I wish I had been taking notes. (I watched it dubbed though, and while I got use to it I wish I had watched it subbed.)

As for the question, Sweet Tooth.
