Was just informed that my mom is at state 4 with no cure. But. She is responding very well to the chemo according to her new pt scan, which doc said is a good sign. He said the best we can hope for is to kill it down to a fraction of itself in the bone, but that fraction will remain and probably try to spread later

He said they also got some new tools within the last couple years to help lengthen life and he's gonna put her on some bone strengthening medicine

I thought she was at stage 3 and no one else told us, so that was a hell of a bomb to drop

Mayhem is an good band to get into, even if you don't like black metal. The lore is pretty interesting. The until the light takes us docu is cool, one of my favorite docus on black metal. I love how Varg casually talks about how he likes his cereal.
Varg is an interesting dude as well. Horrible person, but very interesting. I loved watching his videos back when he was on youtube. Him casually talking about how he killed Euronymous, complete with every little detail while changing the oil in his car was really something else.

I liked it, kind of middle of the pack. I think Tales from the Borderlands was my favorite. Guardians of the Galaxy was better than its given credit for. Only ones I wouldn't suggest is Game of Thrones and Minecraft.

Some kid started at work today, he worked at a shearing shed and he picked everything up right away. Dude might be better at the job than I am, and I've been working there for a month. I think he's gonna do pretty well there.

All that matters is that I'm trying as hard as I can, I've got a good rapport and attitude, and now that the working day is done it's time to motherfuckin DRINK. In moderation of course, fuck going to work hungover.

Also got some fun stuff in the mail, so Wednesday's been pretty good. I don't have COVID, I'm working and I'm able to have some icy brews at the end of the day and no-one can say jack shit to me.
