The character must have premiered in the year of the contest (2021), though there are exceptions.

• Characters who previously premiered in literature or comics are eligible based on their film/tv/game appearances.
• Characters who previously premiered in media appearances may be considered new if the interpretation of the character is new (ex. Gotham's "Batman" characters) but only that particular version of the character is eligible. Use your best judgment.
• Characters will typically go by their initial American release date, though it gets tricky in some cases due to things like limited releases and such; as long as they haven't been nominated in the previous years I'm not gonna fuss one way or the other.

• Each user gets 10 nominations every 24 hours.
• Please specify what each nomination is from
• 3 nominations will guarantee a character gets in
• More than 3 nominations will get the characters higher seeding
• First 64 characters with 3 or more will make it in.

I feel like she might be able to fall under the same exception that Mike did, though she did have a bit more going for her in Deltarune part 1 than Mike did in Breaking Bad season 2.

I'll accept it. Deltarune is weird in that it's essentially one game getting released over a decade, and she was definitely never nominated in the year of Chapter 1, so it's fair enough

So Arcane's a weird one, given that I have basically zero knowledge about League of Legends but I'm leaning toward including it right now because the show seems pretty standalone as its own thing?

I'm no LoL guru myself, but my understanding is that Arcane is a prequel but also that the characters are slightly different from their game incarnations (Jinx is apparently much darker, for example), which seemed okay from my reading of the rules. At the very least I think Silco is new regardless and should count
