Prude culture in America is absolutely insane. Getting naked with total strangers, let alone your own family, and bathing together is normal here and that's how it should be. Being naked is natural.

I don't think my parents did this, but I do know coworkers who do bathe with their kids. It honestly doesn't sound like a bad thing to me, but maybe I don't know whats culturally acceptable or not.

Also in Japan, parents bathe with kids that age. When I stayed with a host family in Japan in 2004, they had 2 young boys, older than these 2 I think. They were like 8 and 10 or something. And they took a bath with their dad every night. They asked me if I wanted to join and I declined.

I was bathed by my parents but dont recall bathing with them.

I got to the onsen pretty regularly. You see parents with kids of all ages in there all the time. My wife and I went to a mixed onsen once (men and women in the same onsen) and it wasn't weird. Being naked is natural, what's weird is being freaked out by it.

It's pretty normal at that age. Probably should stop with the 5 year old soon.

I'm asking for clarification about your opinion because I don't live inside your head. Your answers were vague and didn't actually address what I asked. I appreciate you responding and I do not agree with your sentiment but I also don't have a problem with nudity and we have taught our kids that nudity is nothing to be ashamed or disgusted by.

That's some wild ass puritanical thinking and is exactly why we have the problems that we have a country when it comes to our bodies and sexuality.

I mean, this is coming from a place that deems breastfeeding obscene. You're just bathing, your baps are out because they're a natural human thing that you use to feed children below a certain age. You're not like twerking in front of them or letting them see you strip-dance with nipple pasties or anything - you're taking a bath.

I can see this being some celebrity out-of-touch thing, idk how common this sort of stuff is. But it's like your parents touched both your dick and your asshole when you were too young to do it yourself, and while a necessary part of keeping you clean, that shit is still weird. This is just a bath.

Chrissy Teigen has done some fucked up shit in the past, but bathing with her kids is one of the more benign things to get angry about. Though I do think uploading pictures of yourself and your kids naked in the tub for clout is stupid and infringes on the privacy of your children. Family photo album, sure. Dumb cutesy Instagram post when your kid's like 17? Embarrassing and out of touch, but fine. This feels like it infringes on the boundaries of a child during a period of their development where they need to learn boundaries, and I don't think it should have been uploaded to the internet.
