There's literally nothing wrong with bathing with your kids, or with parents being naked in front if them. It's kinda gross to think otherwise.

And I really don't see the problem with her posting it online, either. They're happy, they're having fun, they wanna show the world, they have the ability to do so. It's all very innocent.

I dont see the problem with taking a bath with your young child. Sometimes, if I need a shower too, I'll just take a shower with my 5 year old son. Saves time to just bathe him and myself at once.

Posting it online is pretty weird though.

This was something I was watching on a plane and was completely blindsided by what happened.

It's about a comedian staying over another comedian's house. The comedian staying over is an awkward, really strange man.... while the other is a family man with two little kids and a wife. The awkward comedian literally has bathing scenes with the guy's .... like, 3 year old son. It was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally awkward.

I know Yoshimoto puts out strange comedy skits.... and I've honestly seen..... crazier, but this felt awkward as heck, even though Japan doesn't see sexuality the way we do.... completely.

this is a stupid as fuck argument. obviously, the point of it isn't because the kids "want" to see the parent naked (if they did, then THAT would be unusual). this is just a mother harmlessly bonding with their child.

I've seen my mom naked, as a kid, and as an adult. it isn't traumatizing in any way. mostly people are just embarrassed by it when it happens, and then they move on with their lives. If she's not embarrassed by it, then good for her.

well i never said anything about toddlers. obviously it's okay for parents to bathe with their toddlers, they're not going to remember anyway. my main issue is that the kids in the pic looked like they are a bit too told to be doing that anymore. but i've already conceded in this topic that i was mistaken about that according to the consensus of experts on the subject,which is is that they are in a generally acceptable age range for it. i would think that by like 2-3 you would want to stop doing it, but apparently 5-6 is what's generally considered okay. although even then it's not a universally accepted opinion, and in one study on the matter, the most common response to the question of when do you stop bathing with your kids with 25% was "i have never bathed with my kids". so there is that. not saying one way is right and one way is wrong, just that people do have different opinions on the matter.
