MegamanXfan21xx 12/22/21 2:59:10 AM #104:	Oh, it's been 10 years since I ponified the protagonist of Rez! https://m.imgur.com/kA4ru Not that great, I know, but all I had was the Pony Maker, Paint, and some Miracle Of Sound going in the background (plus art was always my worst subject). Headbashermonk made a couple alts, one where the light beams on the cutie mark fade out on the ends, and one with the altered mark + making him a pony-shaped cluster of floating tiles, just like the original character's default form. Unfortunately, the only place they were archived was "that site", which went down a long time ago. I did more thinking on what his personality and powers would be like if he were given an actual flesh-and-blood body, and I decided on giving him the same basic blueprint as Blade Wolf's from Metal Gear Revengance: An AI that starts out rather basic and robotic, but slowly grows his own personality. I believe he would be either completely mute or mostly silent, and willing to help others just because it's the right thing to do. As for his powers, I'd make them the same as in Rez and Child of Eden: flight via magical wings, a lock-on homing barrage that can lock onto up to 8 targets, a non-homing rapid-fire straight stream of shots to weaken defenses and destroy hostile projectiles (a magic nullifier, essentially), and a large area-of-effect burst that requires a lot of magic. Since CoE has you purify enemies instead of destroying them, I decided that his attacks would have a small fraction of the purifying power of the rainbow of light. And I decided to balance all this by having his body be able to contain a large quantity of magic/mana, but his magic not being terribly strong. So while he might be able to fly and do magic, battles against larger opponents require a lot of shots, just like the boss fights from the games. His primary magic would manifest in the form of the same floating tiles that make up his original form, but in different sizes and shapes. They would make up his wings and cover his face (one way; he can see out), which both activates his aiming cursor and gives him something like his original faceless look. Telekinesis would have a tendril of the tiles reach out and grab the item. Projectiles would be the usual balls of light. His wings wouldn't flap, instead using some magical thrusters seamlessly built into them. For some reason, there's NO FUCKING SHUTOFF VALVE under the sink, so we can't just disable that and make do with that for a bit. It kept our food nice and chilled, and it wasn't some blatantly ancient outdated relic. We moved here in 2015, so it was probably five years old at most. My brother has a job that has him go into people's homes a lot, and the things he does there usually don't translate into things he can do for this place since it's built so differently. Barely got a teaspoon after 20 seconds. My brother went to a hardware store and got a stopper that fit it, plus putting some teflon tape on top of that, and it didn't drip at all after that. There better be some damn good gifts this year. We earned them. Oh, and my dad has covid. I forgot that in the chaos. I have faith he'll beat it, though. He is knowledgeable in natural health measurements, so trying to infect him is like running at a government building while firing a handgun in the air. He's got a LOT of things to throw at it. Last I heard, he's doing a detox, which unfortunately makes you sick and wrecks your throat and voice from all those toxins being knocked loose. One keeps the light static and lets me scroll through colors with left and right on the d-pad, one makes it fade on and off, one slowly cycles through all the colors, and one has the color and brightness change depending on how I move the joysticks (left controls color, right controls brightness. No vibration unfortunately, but that's not needed. There's also a couple extra buttons underneath, on the grip, that I can reprogram to act as any other button for easier pressing. I can even remove the plate that makes pressing them easy if they prove troublesome. Seems like I'll have to keep it unplugged when I'm not using it. My brother is taking care of it, though. He's got some experience with plumbing from his job. Between all the plumbing problems and rain instead of snow recently, I'm getting sick of water.
