So this Switch controller has four light settings. One keeps the light static and lets me scroll through colors with left and right on the d-pad, one makes it fade on and off, one slowly cycles through all the colors, and one has the color and brightness change depending on how I move the joysticks (left controls color, right controls brightness. No vibration unfortunately, but that's not needed. There's also a couple extra buttons underneath, on the grip, that I can reprogram to act as any other button for easier pressing. I can even remove the plate that makes pressing them easy if they prove troublesome.

Seems like I'll have to keep it unplugged when I'm not using it. Plugging it in with the system in sleep mode makes it flash red, basically its error notification.
