Great premise and detective work, but there was too many dialogue-free fetch quest side cases that took you through copy-pasted ruins. There wasn't even anyone you had to deliver the items to at the end. I wouldn't be against them trying something like it again, but they'd have to really be aware of what worked and what didn't. Frogwares has mostly made Sherlock Holmes games, so making an open-world game with monster encounters and crafting was quite different for them. I've currently moved on to another game, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure. It's a bright, colorful, relaxing game where you play as a kid on a Mediterranean island, photographing and helping out the wildlife, cleaning up litter, and getting petition signatures speaking against the construction of a mega hotel. It's got a great art style that really enhances the atmosphere. I also like that your guidebook lets you listen to an animal's call so you know what to keep an ear out for. It's short, but definitely worth playing for how simple, wholesome, and relaxing it is. The rain actually looks normal and isn't a blinding laser light show, distance fog is back and even got added to III, the VC face texture on island walls bug is fixed, a bunch of NPCs got some details back, a bunch of AI-generated typos got fixed, and most importantly, the nuts on the Tuff Nuts donut shop actually look like metal nuts again! Another year or so, and it might actually be worth getting. Also, they brought back the original versions of the games on PC. Consoles are SOL, though. Well, there's now an official music video for it, over 30 years later. Malcrasternus 12/06/21 7:54:04 PM #42:	My hand had that issue again, where the skin on the palm blisters up, dies, and leaved behind a thick layer of dead skin that can be peeled off like a band-aid with about the same amount of force to remove. It only happens on one hand, oddly. My non-dominant hand. No pics 'cause it's kinda gross, but the new skin is more flushed and sensitive compared to the old skin around it that didn't fall off, and needs a ton of hand cream to keep from drying out too quickly. This guy rolled in afterwards for some oil and a new radiator cap.
