You do know that sarcasm doesn't work in text form, because sarcasm is all about the tone you say something in. So in message boards like this, you have to put /sarcasm or /s at the end of the sentence to convey that you're being sarcastic. Not my fault you don't have any message board etiquette.

Yes, you absolutely have to explicitly indicate sarcasm every single time because it's totally impossible to indicate tone through text and you certainly can't invoke or rely on additional context to indicate that your statement might not be completely literal.

The dude has a history of lacking reading comprehension. I can't just assume he was able to comprehend this time. Yeah, it's so basic that even an elementary schooler should've picked up what the other poster was saying, but his reading comprehension is so crap that I can't trust him to understand even that.

Pretty sure I've been around Zang for longer than you have. He goes off on unreasonable tangents periodically, but there's nothing particularly wrong with his reading comprehension skills. At least, certainly not to the extent that anyone should be categorically assuming that he's misunderstanding something instead of just being sarcastic (since he's also very frequently sarcastic). I think it's more likely that you just suck at communicating.
