It's funny, but a lot of the gags are references to or recycled from the show. The height of South Park as storytelling is probably the movie, which had a stronger satirical point underpinning the whole thing than the game does.

Agree with the latter point, but I don't agree that the games really recycled much. They borrowed elements and there were some callbacks for sure, but the material was pretty bespoke to the game.

The story/writing was by far the high point for TSOT, but occasionally there were times where South Park was South Park...to an over-the-top degree.

Yeah, these topics are quite reasonable. With that in mind TLOU2 might perform decently--probably somewhere between a 6.5 and 7.5.
