I did my taxes super late because I was a fucking mess back in the spring and I knew I wasn't gonna owe anything so it wouldn't matter.

Was pleasantly surprised to find out that in spite of having almost no income besides pandemic money last year, I apparently overpaid taxes on that from the automatic deduction shit I did so I'm getting like 2k back that I was not at all expecting. Getting a decent amount from state too but I have to mail file for that shit.

Wasn't planning to drink tonight because I took the last week off after a bender that wrecked me for a few days, but tonight I'm having a little bit because this is awesome. Also finally acclimating to new (rennovated, not actually new) apartment after struggling to adjust since moving back. Finally getting last unpacking shit done after putting it off because I didn't feel like dealing with it.

Also, mentioned a few topics ago that I suspected I might be bipolar. Looked into that more and yeah I am like 95% sure so this next week I'm going to reach out to a local service network and set up a consultation.

I've recently discovered my phone's voice recorder and now I'm having fun with it like a fucking boomer lol. If I want to write stuff but don't have the patience or attention span, I can just narrate it out loud and record it and then transcribe/edit in text later. This is fun. I might actually put some shit together for that Final Destination idea I mentioned several topics ago I think (unless that was some other topic idk I was drunk).

Walter and Johnny walked into a bar called the Nodern Lounge (which, in true 80s fashion, was a big neon sign in the middle of a big neon sign). The inside was a big, round bar filled with long, low tables. The bar itself looked like something you would expect to see on a spaceship and was completely un-frigging-believable. It was shaped like the inside of a giant sphere (maybe a space-shuttle, with the floor being the ground and the walls being the curved part of the interior) and was perfectly round. To the left of the bar were two large booths and three smaller tables. In the booths sat a group of characters who looked vaguely like they were from one of the 70s bands the bar had obviously ripped off. And at the front of the room was a trio of guys who looked like they were from the 70s too. At least, at first glance.

I had been reading the _Guinness Book of World Records_. My old, dusty copy of it, now yellow with age and dog-eared pages, had found a home in a box of random detritus in the corner of my room. There was, in fact, a section on the 'World's Fastest Animals'. A long list of animals were given, and I was amazed to see that one of them the ostrich could be found in Pakistan, of all places. I had read about the creature in my copy of _The Book of Beasts_ that my grandmother had given me for Christmas one year, and though I remembered it as being very large, it hadn't quite been what I expected.

'An ostrich, from Pakistan,' I said to Danny.

'Is that right?'

'Yeah. You know, for eating.'

Most of the class is younger than me and we spent the whole day just on ms teams. And another half a day tomorrow. Wtf. Its so boooorrrrrring. Ms teams is not difficult to use. I never used it before this class and my dumbass figured it out in a few minutes.

In Tennessee we do this underwater and it's called noodling, goal is to grab a catfish by the mouth when it bites you and yank that sucker out of the water.

See, I didn't have all this cool stuff when I grew up. We had sand, and we had balled up hands. And sometimes there wasn't even sand. We yanked a lot though.

He looked at the dot, looked at me, and proceeded to try and attack the pointer in my hand. I had to keep turning off the dot to not get his eyes.

Oh thats smart for sure. I forgot an example for dumb Walter.

One time he was up on the counter and he was a lot smaller then, and instead of jumping down like every other time he just slowly tried to reach the floor with his front paws and eventually passed the tipping point and landed on his head like a brick. Another time he was chasing a fly and leapt headfirst into the sliding glass door doing like 30km an hour.
