Do you think the alligator ate or killed him at this point?

71 y/o Timothy Satterlee was horrifically killed and eaten by an ALLIGATOR after Hurricane Ida flooded his home as he roamed the back area in the morning hours when suddenly the gator caught his arm as he screamed for his wife to help him.

His wife who has not been named tried to save him by grabbing onto his other arm but it RIPPED OFF and he was dragged away by the alligator!!

She screamed in horror and his remains have still not been found.

WWL reporter, Erika Ferrando said Satterlee was a very kind and loving father and search crews with a cadaver dog looked in vain of his body but could not find him.

His wife said she heard screaming and splashing early on Monday and walked outside on Avery road and seeing a large gator attacking her husband inside their flooded shed.

She was able to pull him up a flight of stairs but saw he was badly injured and left him there to find help.

The gator is said to have returned to finish him off and she fought the alligator to try to save him with his left arm but it then torn off after the alligator pulled him away and was never seen again...

Hurricane Ida hit Sunday with 150mph winds and was tied for the 5th strongest hurricane ever to hit the US causing several deaths across the east coast.

Capt. Lance Vitter said "They searched until it got dark yesterday and unfortunately we still haven't located Mr. Satterlee. There is a high probability that he is deceased but we can't make that call until we recover his body so there is still hope he could be alive out there"

Do you think the alligator ate him at this point?

Thats fucking sad as hell. Youre married to a person and love them, and then something just eats them. Nature is fucked up.

That gator must have been extremely hungry, from what I hear they mostly only go after people if people are stupid and try to feed them or they are extremely hungry.

Crocs are not like gators they will go after any human for almost any reason, shit even if they aren't hungry they might chomp on someone.

imagine living 71 years to get eaten by a fucking gator. This world is too much sometimes.
First thing I thought of as well. What a horrible way to go. And on top of that, I'm sure the wife is severely traumatized.

The story makes no sense if she was stuck holding an arm. That's the stuff cheesy horror movies, not real life.
