Wow according to this list Link's Awakening is the only '93 game I've ever played. And I only played the DX version really!

The year also has my favorite text adventure in Gateway II: Homeworld, the sequel to Frederik Pohl's Gateway.

Master of Orion probably wins in terms of still being a perfectly excellent game, honestly maybe better than a lot of new 4x types.
