And Jesus, When was the last time a Wrestling Wedding actually went through w/o objection or someone getting their ass kicked.

I mean a man got murdered and a bunch of people tried to object before the groom threatened them.

But yeah for a wrestling wedding it went quite smoothly. Though the last time was actually really recent. The Sabian/Ford wedding went perfectly. It was after the wedding that best friends attacked.

So I don't know how to say this.

I don't think I had watched a single wrestling event since I was in high school, and fell off during the post-invasion era WWF probably around 04/05.

A friend of mine was really hyped up about AEW and the fact that CM Punk was coming back (who I knew more from his laughable UFC run and people referencing him on this board) and finally convinced me to watch with All Out. It was a pretty fun show (the women's matches were awful, and I don't know what the fuck that cage match with the young bucks and lucha brothers was), but I actuall started watching the weekly shows, and let me tell you, that Daniel Bryan and Kenny Omega match may have ignited something within me. AEW feels like proper Attitude Era wrestling and it is great.

Other notes:

• Holy shit, how is sting still able to wrestle, he has to be in his 60s?
• Can't believe Christian is still wrestling and he looked great at All Out
• Chris Jericho is gross and fat looking, yikes
• Has JR not aged a day since the 90s?
• Also cannot believe Goldust/Dustin Rhodes is still wrestling

So ya, ask me anything I guess, I probably have a very different perspective as a very lapsed fan

Bruh they're pushing Roman so hard they had him go to RAW to win two matches over the guy they hotshotted to the title.

Nobody is touching Roman until The Rock. And then they won't know wtf to do after that.

Problem is they're building up zero concurrent babyfaces to realistically dethrone him. It's Brock and... that's it. Rock has already been ruled out for WM38.

One of the sub-plots is "who's side is Paul Heyman on" with Heyman at one point doing his intro for Brock, only for Brock to threaten Heyman into getting his match with Reigns.

They clearly don't give a fuck about Big E. They couldn't even let the dude win one of his two matches on RAW and instead gave both wins to Roman, who doesn't need them.

Thinking this is them having any faith in Big E still is WWE brain worms.

And it's why no one is over. Because people actually want finishes to matter.

If you try to make everyone over no one is over. Turns out if you just do clean no excuse finishes more often people can get over a loss.

Finn Balor also had Roman beat until the ring broke. Close doesnt count when god is on Roman's side.
