150k is nothing if you have a decent car and have taken good care of it. My car is at 130k now and I've never had any major problems in the nearly 6 years I've had it

Which state? Driving across Rhode Island is a lot different from driving across Texas.

If you're taking care of the vehicle, then 150k miles is nothing.

A car can still be in pretty good shape with 150k miles.

That was the other thing I was going to ask, lol.

I take my 140k car across Texas (700ish miles) about six times a year, plus occasional 100-200 mile trips to and from major Texas cities. Not a big deal at all.

Depends on the state, depends on how well the care has been maintained in general, and depends on whether or not I've got something akin to AAA to tow me if something goes wrong.

Yes. That's not that many miles on the vehicle, and that's not terribly far to drive.

I drove a car 500 miles with the frame literally rotted away to the point that the shock absorbers had fallen off. And that was before everyone had cellphones. Nowadays I would drive anything any distance since I could just call a tow truck anytime I was in trouble.

Shit, my car is like 250K and I wouldn't have any hesitation about driving across the state (I'm in NC).

It wouldn't be the most comfortable right now because the A/C isn't working, but I could deal with it.

I could easily drive across America in my 01 impala. It has 550k miles on it but it's regularly maintained and a sturdy beast.

The more important thing is if it's proven to been reliable - after that the mileage doesn't matter so much.

Yes I've driven a car with that mileage from NY to WA and WA to AZ with no issues. As long as it's mechanically sound.
