Are you sure about that? The community spreadsheet says it's WHT/SUM, it should be magic based when dealing water damage and mind based when dealing holy.

In-game it says that the attack type is based on the users stats, so I guess it can probably be either for either element?

I thought it was always white magic like how his usb1 chases are water white magic damage. So it's actually like Exdeath's HA?

Then again I never used Arc for water teams and I didn't think it was summon because it can be reflected (thanks for teaching me that you jerk labyrinth dinosaur skeletons.)

That makes sense since it matches up with how attack/mag hybrid abilities work. White magic water damage is kinda cool.

Yeah since it seems like every endgame fire boss uses berserk now bringing Arc with high mind as water white mage seems like a good idea since he can just shrug it off in a second.

High mind is almost like a cheat code in this game. I love it when enemies use status effects on my white mage and they just shrug it off. Combine that with full break and labyrinth fatigue not effecting it...

I would have bit it if wasn't for Trey since I have nothing for him and I don't need another physical DPS in his elements and will go mage for T-0 Bahamut.

I do plan on getting Gogo's Hero Ability though. Finally water magic doesn't have to rely on Rydia BSB and Arc glint+ for imperils!

This water banner is no good for me... I already have Tidus's dyad and I have zero interest in the other characters. What I could use is better stuff for Strago and then maybe Rydia, Serah, Luna, and/or Arc.

I currently use everyone on the banner except Meia (and I would definitely use her if I got her sync!) since I have Gogos chain

Without anything else Trey is a prime candidate for replacement for all of the teams I have him on, though

Man, that Labyrinth banner 2 looks terrific. All the stuff I'd like from this banner (Meia and Gogo's relics), no Trey, no dupe Tidus Dyad, and then a Tidus Sync2 and Meia's chain as a bonus.

Definitely skipping the current banner now.

Glad to have a phys water chain, though it'll be hard for Tidus to spare the bars; gotta get Rikku's, I guess!

I like Paine better as a physical water chain holder since she has an overstrike HA. Lion, Paine and Edge make a great trio in my experience. Hopefully they can handle Salamander in a few months.

My current team is Yuffie/Tidus/Rikku (though Rikku only has her dyad; I could replace her with Trey, but I don't know that he's good enough with just his AASB to justify giving up imperils).

Hell yeah! My ticket on the FFXV banner finally gave me that sweet Gladio Sync.

I got Desch chain with my ticket. Not bad but it won't help against Bahamut.

Shame Desch got such a bad HA too.

I got a dupe of Rinoa's earth awakening and... Edea's awakening. I guess the game really wants me to use her. I still need a darn ice magic chain though, aside Rinoa's old gen 1.

Rikku has the nice 500 SB glint though. But yeah, her damage is terrible. If the enemy uses resist water I'll bring her to imperil but otherwise I'd probably go Tidus/Paine/Edge.

Paine gets her hero gear soon so that's not that big of an advantage. And I got Lion sync and awakening and she's a better imperiler and DPS than Rikku.

Congrats on Edea Awakening, she'll be a beast next week with hero artifacts. You can get her best stuff from Enkidu.

At Kite's shop you can trade for them with treasure maps, they only have 3% damage boosts though. Once season 2's labyrinth open the hero artifacts in season 1 cycle every 3 days from earth>wind>ice>FF4>earth.

You can buy them from Kites shop if youre fine with 3% artifacts for the moment. Otherwise youll need to wait until the season to end after I think the fourth artifact set for them to start rotating every 3.5 days.

3% artifacts are a lot better than no artifacts and you can upgrade them to 5% later, so they're definitely worth picking up for characters you use.

Aw yeah, took down VIII Dragonking. 44.41. I ended up doing it with my non-ice team (Rinoa, Fujin, Ultimecia, Selphie, Cait Sith)... although I have fewer cap breaks, the ice team is just much more awkward with mixing physical and magic and having to imperil. That's my 5th dragonking fight down.

Main reason to pull is because for whatever reason FFT events have become far less frequent... like holy crap the last FFT event was when the Dreambreaker came out nearly a year ago! When did FFT become a MMO dena?

I might; Tactics is probably tied with I and XI for my second worst realm (worst is still II with literally zero BDLs)

I guess I also have Agriass LBO for tactics and given how lacking my DPS is the 450 fight would probably last long enough to use it at 3 bars!

Yeah, shame Monblanc is on there though. There might be a half off banner too since Japan got a step up and global usually gets a half off banner for banner 2 like we did with the last FF8 event.

There's also no other FFT events in the foreseeable future.

Hrm I think I'm gonna try to take on phys-weak Ramuh using Red for my 3rd dps since he can imperil (and with the sync I wouldn't be surprised if he was better dps than someone physical anyway, especially without multiple enearth sources).

I'm impatient for more hero artifacts this week. I just checked and there are 222 non-KH non-core job characters. At 9 per month it's going to take forever to get everyone's gear.

It wouldn't be so bad with the hero artifacts if more popular characters got their equipment sooner than later. Characters like Rude, Guy, Serafie, Cid 4, Cid Highwind, Freya, Umaro, Cyan ect getting theirs first seems so pointless when almost nobody uses those characters anyway.

Anybody gonna try Enkidu this Thursday? I'm hoping I can get a day 1 win for physical at least.

I'm going to try but judging by my experience with Sandworm I think I'm probably a little short of a clear. For physical I think I'd need an extra sync or awakening for my chain holder (which can be Celes or Laguna, currently just have the first awakening for each).

Squall and Ayame are backup options (sync/awakening for both)

They stick around, Kalavinka Striker is still there if you want to fight him. When an nexus boss is added it opens a new labyrinth dungeon.

Today is the last day to get those 8 tickets from the magicite campaign.

Or, if you're done with that, you might want to get your 10 weekly magicites done while they are 10 stamina.

I wanted to get Ramuh done but I just don't have the energy to figure out how to live through all of his attacks. Guess I'll have to be content with 2/8 tickets!

(I guess some of them aren't piercing so wall would probably help, but I need the RW chain)

Do you not have Tyro's USB3? (The one that's hastega, shellga, protectga, and wall) it should be lensable and it covers a lot of bases. He can also crit fix with his USB4, or just entrust.

I do, though I'm worried about the loss of buffs/extra healing if I ditched Mog for Tyro (earlier critfix would be helpful, though Galuf's sync will give me that at some point anyway).

Tyro, Elarra and 3 dps should be able to get you a win. If your dps is super stacked, you could also do Tyro, healer, support or imperiler, and 2 dps.

Tyro can use Wrath and Entrust to your healer, so you should have enough healing.

Tried with Tyro/Elarra/Galuf/Wedge/Red and got him down to about 25%; he murdered me right after my chain ran out and I couldn't clear his rage.

Today was my 2300 login... got three dupes with the ticket, two USBs and a OSB. That pool is so dated now they really should have just made it 15 mythril for everything past 2000 instead of tickets but oh well.

That banner is getting an update in a few months. I had my day 2300 a few weeks ago and I'm saving the ticket until the refresh.

I'll probably still end up with garbage, but at least there's a small chance for a decent relic then.
