I used both tickets on the ice banner. Got a dupe of Rinoa's AASB (now 5/15) with one ticket and a new Serah AASB with the other one.

I actually have Arcs AASB2 (and nothing else besides a BSB). No hope of doing that DB anytime soon, though!

I wish had that Arc awakening 2 to go with my awakening 1 and other Arc stuff, FF3 Bahamut is making me worrisome because I plan to go mage and I only have 4 cap breaks (OK Awakening/Sync, CoD Awakening and Arc Awakening) I do have 3 cap breaks for Luneth but I'd rather go mage since Arc's imperils can help OK. Plus it's easier to use Mog in a full mage team.

I guess I don't need it for a Bahamut win since CoD HA and OK sync 2 is an overstrike command to break king's rage but it'd make the fight a lot more manageable.

(plus that Bahamut comes out on my birthday, I don't want to spend the evening getting frustrated at him)

Campaign confirmed for tonight I guess. Which dreambreaker are you going to use your free overdrive on? There are still two I haven't beaten (I and Core) but I'm afraid I still wouldn't beat them with overdrive and lose my 5 mythril. I think I'm going to go for VII because Cloud and Seph are super greedy for SB meter and my clear was embarrassingly slow (over 40 seconds).

I had the same problem with IX Bahamut, had to restart early a couple times while I remembered what to do, and then I just lost by failing to break King's Rage soon enough.

Finally finished IX Bahamut. My ticket just got me a dupe Laguna G+ and dupe Seifer LMR. :(

The current banner actually seems pretty good. I need to decide if I want to save to do 10 in fest though. This fest isn't that great for me (part of the problem is I have almost everything on b5 which otherwise would be quite good). But there is some good stuff there and the free selections are a BIG bonus.

I'm gonna focus more on the fire chocobo event than next fest. Rubicante is so good with his dyad/sync/awakening 2 and his chain is there, and he gets his Red XIII imperil HA and then his hero artifacts next labyrinth. I see him a lot in both the FF4 and Fire labyrinth nexus bosses since he works well with Edge.

Braska's pretty good too with his sync since it's a Hope like cap break sync command. I see him a lot in Japanese FF10 Bahamut sub30 videos.

Realized I only had Luneth, Arc, and OK AASBs in the FF3 realm, and barely anything else, so I've been tossing the last few tickets there. The last one netted me Ingus AASB and CoD Sync, so that was finally nice.

Ice Weak Wodin FINALLY comes out tomorrow. It's surreal at this point he's finally here, especially after how Sandworm and Enkidu already came out where his seal is most needed. Maybe that's why Dena is making another Wind Labyrinth so global can actually use those seals and gauntlets for people who already beat Sandworm and Enkidu.

Wodin is most likely gonna be easy for me since I already beat magic weak Enkidu and got 90% on physical, though the issue with Wodin being powercrept is going too fast where he keeps jumping to rage level 3 at 60% HP and he instant kills. Once I beat him I'm gonna make another attempt at physical Sandworm with the gauntlet for Luneth and now I have 3 cap breaks for him.

Tomorrow! I thought it was Thursday since most things are on Thursday. Physical should be doable, not sure about magic with my old 1.0 chain.

FFT Bahamut is on Thursday, having a Wodin and Bahamut come out on the same would be rough (even if Wodin is really powercrept by now, he still has annoying gimmicks.)

I'm definitely looking forward to Tactics Bahamut, my team is stacked. I think I'm going to try Orran solo healing at first because I have Sync+Awakening for all 5 characters with Orlandu, Agrias, Delita, Ramza, and Orran. Plus Ramza can chain so I can bring Fabula heal. And Orlandu's OSB is great for Dragonking rage (although I don't know how many layers he has).

It takes 4 hits to breaks King's Rage on FFT Bahamut. I plan to stack Agrias sync and awakening in phase 2 so hopefully she can do over 20000 damage in phase 3 to break it, with her imperil HA she should be able too like how Vaan did against FF12 Bahamut. If not well I have OSBs for her and Orlandeau.

I also used overdrive on FF11's dreambreaker and got the sub30! only 3 left to sub30, FF1 and FF10. Finger crossed I get Braska's sync or Awakening next week!

The dreambreaker missions are fun. I used my overdrive on VII and it was easy, after struggling and not being able to clear it at all before. Even when I finally did beat it I had Orran (or at least he was in my saved team) but it took my 41 seconds, with overdrive I cut it to 26.91. Then I did XIV and that one was even more surprising because I was using exactly the same team but I cut my time from 36.x to 24.29, my fastest dreambreaker yet. I think most of the difference is from just using Papa's sync second and being able to rattle off a bunch of 29k hits really fast. I think for my third one I'll try to get Nimbus under 30, my first try was 30.74 and now I have more HAs.

Hrm, it probably doesn't matter a ton, but I wonder if it would be better to go fire or ice for Cater and Trey for the DB. The only difference is that Trey's AASB has an element-dependent chase; fire gives a 40% damage reduction barrier, while ice gives +ice every other usage.

Leaning towards fire, though I guess ice might be preferable if it made the difference in rage-breaking?

Finally been playing this a bit more.

Labyrinth is definitely interesting. I view it as something you take your sweet time doing, and don't just try and rush through/grind, as that can get terrible quickly. Having it as a side thing you can do, rather than locking you in and not allowing you to do other things as you explore, was a good idea.

Finally took a shot at a second 6* magicite. Titan was the only one I had beaten previously, majorly due to God Cloud and his band of supporters. Thankfully power creep exists, and I definitely have some fun toys.

Took on Ramuh (magic), and beat him first try with a 24.60 time! Elarra's last stand from her AASB never triggered, but that doesn't mean Ramuh can't hit damn hard. That lightning king thunder move thing did around 9k to each character. Thought I was in trouble towards the end, because Elarra didn't have enough bars to use USB1 again, and her AASB had run out.

The reason I wasn't was because my earth magic DPS is pretty scary. Emperor SASB/AASB/HA, Red XIII SASB/AASB/HA, Rydia AASB/HA, Tellah CSB (who was also on activate Titan duty), and Elarra G+/AASB/USB1 was my team.

I guess Leviathan is next?

Be warned Leviathan is a dumb fight with a doom counter gimmick. If your DPS is fast enough (IE Queen/Edge/Lightning sync) he's probably not too bad. But having to juggle the air bubble/doom stuff really sucks.

For me Leviathan is the easiest 6* magicite. It's just a race, if you have enough DPS you can ignore the gimmick, unlike Ifrit, Valefor, Titan, Alexander, or Diabolos.

Ice Magic Weak Wodin beaten first try, it was sloppy though which explains the long time.

This fight is much more annoying than I expected. I forgot Odin's gimmicks... and I can't use Lenna because I don't have her first awakening and I need a raise for the doom.

Well that was unexpected, I beat the physical Wodin much easier than the magic one, even though I beat magic Enkidu but can't beat the physical Enkidu.



I also was not expecting Celes to do that much damage, she was capping 29999.

Alright, I took down both versions too, yay. Although there were stages of the fight when characters weren't breaking level 3 rage because of my crappy gen 1 chain, we broke through and got there in the end. Vivi was a beast, it seemed like he was doing better damage than either Rinoa or Serah. But once I get Serah's chain she'll be pulling her weight.

BiOdin was confirmed for 10/2 in the MVP letter. It does seem like I'm going to have to forget about doing 10 pulls in the fest because they just don't give enough mythril to do that and other pulls. Excited to see bio finally get its day!

In terms of lightning DPS, the only syncs I have are Lightning and Shantotto. I have both of their AASBs as well. For physical, I have both Prompto's and Queen's chain, though Prompto seems more suited to imperiling, so he likely gets the nod here. For magic, both Desch and Garnet chains, though not much else for them. I also have Kain and Aranea AASBs for physical, while not much else good for magic, though I do have Ashe AASB and Dyad, so that's a consideration.

Shantotto sync should be more than enough for Leviathan, also he diffuses early so hold off on the dyad and awakening on Ashe.

Bio Wodin, that's a big oof. I have Kefka and Edgar awakenings at least and you can use mixed parties. Maybe I'll have to dream select Quistis awakening since there's a timed mission for bio Wodin.

The Bio banners are pretty good imo. I plan on doing 3 11-pulls on those for the Quistis wardrobe. That should hopefully get me enough tech to handle Biodin.

Sheesh even with getting 2 more cap breaks for Luneth and Wodin's gauntlet and seal this was still by the skin of my teeth! These fucking short turn limits, UGH! I got him down to under 5% so many times but always that stupid maze end BS!!! But I got that dualcast luck and I used Orran's instant cast BSB command on Bartz so he could get his LBO off this time!

No I still haven't beaten Physical Kalavinka Striker (waiting on Dorgann's HA to come out, may do a pull for his new stuff) and physical Enkidu.

Sandworm's the only Nexus I've beaten both damage types. Also I found out doing a Nexus boss still counts for the daily mission for the record marker, I can just use a low level character and have them die and save up the record markers for FF4 Hero Artifacts in a couple weeks.

Yeah the wall sucks, that's why it's so important to have two cap breaks a character, or at least a good usb like an ability double or one with good chases to use in phase one so you can save your syncs, dyads and awakenings for phase 2.

General strategy with Bahamut is to have at least 5 cap breaks. 1 character uses a 1 cap break in phase 1 (or two if they have a lot of HP like FF6 Bahamut...) have another character use a cap break or good USB and have the third DPS store up 4 bars to save for phase 2 and hopefully they have the damage to break King's Rage in phase 3. When phase 2 starts refresh the chain and have the two other characters use their cap breaks in phase 2 to build chain and that characters with 4 bars uses both of them hope to outspeed Mega Flare

Do you normally use one chain in P1 and then another after the wall? Or wait until P2 for the first chain?

Use the first chain in phase 1 to try an outspeed the status effect. Refresh the chain at the start of phase 2 or end of phase 1 and then while you can't do any damage use your soul breaks to build chain and get rid of the historia stones. so when his wall goes down you have a high chain number to start breaking the savage levels.

Managed to beat the T-0 DB even with Mog dying around 50% and my chain running out around 10%! Thankfully I had already used Mogs awakening for the first DB counter and had Caters ready for the second.

Nope, but given that I've already cleared XIV before normally I imagine I should be able to reclear easily enough with the free overdrive (don't think I want to gamble that mythril on core, and nothing else seems remotely doable for me).

Alphys dyad did about 13% at the end there before an HC chase finished him off.

And haha nope my FFT is terrible; Im just hoping to be able to get the D450 tails for that one (yeah I might pull once, but all I have is Delitas AASB+some Ovelia stuff). My next best realms are probably core and XIII (but my Vanille sucks for XIII and I dont have a good third dps for core).

It's a pretty good banner, and there's no FFT events in the foreseeable future. Dena really seems to be neglecting Tactics recently, there's only been 2 events in the last year and it was because of the Dreambreaker and Dragonking. We might not see another Tactics event until we get a Tactics labyrinth.

I had 8 cap breaks, Bartz awakening 1/2/whichever the fire awakening is, Luneth awakening 1/2 and sync and Vann awakening 1/2.

Hmm, yeah, I have 7+ depending on how you count and what team I use. But the biggest weakness is Zack having only 1, and a weaker chain.

Cloud: dyad, sync, awakening, and USB1
Zidane: dyad, sync, awakening

(Bartz was my alternate: dyad, sync, 3 different awakenings but I never used more than 2 of them)

I beat FFT Bahamut! A bit rough but having native Orran is a godsend, he helps Agrias handle king rage with his BSB. Ovelia's also pretty good depite only having white magic to work with (wish she had bard so Orran doesn't have to juggle ode to victory)
