That same cruise i had scheduled over a year ago now, has been rescheduled for april 2nd, recanceled and rescheduled again for april of 2022 now lolz. This is the cruise that will never actually happen!! Meanwhile I am vacinated yeah but A: My passport is in limbo (Even though I paid extra to fast track it they wanted 5 forms of picture ID etc, which I sent in over a week ago) and B: I just can't do long flights while having to wear a freaking mask the whole time. So until both of those change, my vacation plans are pretty much in limbo. Even just flying the 800-900 miles to the Bay Area just to get some good food (sad I know) is off the table for now. I am hoping that things will change soon, but I'm also looking for work, which could easily prevent me from going on trips as well (at least till the cruise), so I may literally not get to go anywhere till April 2022 (if that doesn't get canceled as well). Arrrgh. Seriously my eyes get worse every year, and my hearing is bad enough I have to use hearing aids (which don't work well in crowds etc). If I wait too much longer, any vacation I do take isn't gonna be much fun. I won't be able to see squat, hear anything in crowds and I'll have enough dietary restrictions to not even enjoy the new food options etc. COVID go AWAY!!! --- Tacobot 3000 "Saving the world from not having tacos." I did break down and schedule a visit to Busch Gardens but we've had at least one covid-19 shot and plan to stay masked the whole time (as well as remain the recommended distance from others if at all possible).
