Im 30 pulls since Diluc fucked on me coin flip. Getting to another pity before Eula leaves seems hopeless since thats at minimum 45 pulls away and 60 at the most. We get 5 fates in the shop tomorrow so heres hoping I get lucky :(

I dont even follow when Spiral Abyss resets since I rarely enter it. Its just a struggle to clear some of the conditions

I always take Xinyan and Bennett to that domain. It hasn't been an issue for so long, I forgot it had a stamina penalty

Kaeya and Barbara in the exchange shop tomorrow. Barbara is supposed to be on Klees rerun banner too supposedly.

Finally got around to doing the new Zhongli quest. It was pretty cool too. Zhonglis English voice is some good shit imo

Played 20 or so hours of the game so far. My biggest takeaway is that it's fun when it's not a gacha, honestly.

Couldn't beat 12-3 in time though now I'll just bring my strongest teams possible. I'll give it another go before abyss resets.

Barbara was easily my first character to C6 without spending on her at the shop. I've heard other people joke about just how many Barbaras they've gotten. Since she's also rumored to be on this first banner with Klee, I wouldn't buy her at the stroke of midnight.

I used Barbara for a really long time before I had other healers to work with. I wouldn't call it OP, so much as a really nice perk that makes it worth considering using her. Barbara is very much a "in lieu of anyone else" healer because even though she has certain upside, she also has considerable downside as well. It is worth noting, however, that the timer on the rez is measured in real time, so if you're running abyss and take a death, you can just pause before starting the next room/attempt, and it will be up after 15 minutes have elapsed.

Pros to Barbara:
* Can heal out of combat
* Has two different heals, one over time and the other for quick burst healing
* Can also use the HoT as a group heal by attacking with her instead of switching off
* Applies hydro, which is sometimes hard to come by for F2P
* At C6, can bail you out of a big booboo with her full rez

Cons to Barbara:
* Can't really attack or do anything that isn't healing
* Applies wet when she heals, which means you get hit with reactions constantly, especially freeze

I realize the pros list looks longer, but it would be for literally any character in the game. None of Barbara's other constellations are particularly appealing. C2 is nice for the cooldown reduction, but two of them are literally just energy regeneration and the other two are the standard skill/burst boosts. I thought I would really miss using Barbara when I started using other healers because I'm paranoid about having full health most of the time, but instead I just learned to manage my health better and leverage shields when possible. Hu Tao may or may not have been largely responsible...

I don't know how strong Kaeya's cons are, but getting them for the default party is next to impossible. Kaeya's the least dependent on them of the three, but if you're using him, it's worth at least considering.

Yeah I like Barb's passive healing and she's my only hydro. I guess I could use more DPS but I have enough trouble with my rotation as it is.

I think I'm on C3 right now actually. I've only pulled like 10 chars ever, and she was 2 of them. So yeah I'll get her to C6 eventually either way.

C1 is pretty good. Getting that made me want to build him, ngl. Kaeya/Lisa/Amber are 6* characters.

This new boss is pretty tough with all his AoE and element changing. Actually had to use items with my Ganyu/Noelle/Fischl/Xiangling team :o

Ganyu's good there if she can attack safely, but you have to make sure she can. I imagine you had to lean pretty hard on Noelle's shield.

Yeah. Zhongli seems like hed be amazing for it if you have him. My other shields arent at fieldable levels yet

The fight was basically made for him, considering it's tied to his story.

I assume you mean starglitter. And I hoard my starglitter for emergencies, like the end of Zhongli's banner when I was racing to get back to pity after blowing the 50/50.

You're not wrong. Aside from the explicit stuff like when the abyss was targeting him, the devs have absolutely been incorporating content that seems to depend on whether you have a strong shield or not...although I think that has more to do with their raging hard-on for geovishaps. They gave us a geovishap boss, a floor 12 with geovishaps, a domain with just 2 geovishaps, several event encounters with geovishaps, a new world boss that's a distant cousin of the geovishaps. Plus, other encounters and new enemies have lent themselves to being battered swiftly and air juggled, which means not getting hit to begin with -- which isn't always possible just by dodging in some of these encounters. So yeah, shields have absolutely been taking over the game.

To be fair, shields are one of the deepest mechanics in the game and they should encourage them. But it's too hard to make a Geo based team. Mostly because Noelle is boring af.

It's not hard if you have Albedo or want to use Ning as your carry. Barring that, though, yes. You're stuck with traveller.

Also, what exactly is "deep" about shields? Press button, take no damage.

The theory I heard was that since we're still within Liyue content, being the land of Geo, we're getting a lot of focus on shields. But when we go to Inazuma, the land of Electro, we might get a lot of focus on energy management, since that's the electro leyline disorder.

I wouldn't mind if crystallize seemed even remotely viable, but those shields are as durable as wet paper and last half as long. Not to mention you cannot crystallize geo shields, and dps Ningguang isn't running 2-piece bollide
