The energy drain leyline disorder is the absolute worst of the bunch. Nothing's more obnoxious than switching characters, hitting your burst, and them just standing there because the instant before you hit the button, the pulse hit and removed some energy...and you just stand there looking stupid as you get hit a bunch for lack of i-frames. It's a total Charlie Brown and the football moment. Plus, certain characters become waaayyyy less useful if they can't build any energy, which is usually what happens when that's up. Like, okay, I'mma just sit here with Ganyu and fire my charged shots because I can't do anything else.

Timing to counter things, elemental shields, having to move around to collect the crystals. It's all relative though. The rest of the game is just "mash, wait for cooldown".

The downside of pulling Broken Pines is that I'll have to change up my artifact configuration, which is going to take some time...

Currently using Serpent Spine with 4pc Pale Flame w/ Atk% Sands off-piece that might be too good to give up. With that being said, I'll probably have to go with 2pc Bloodstained/Pale Flame and hope for some good rolls that will be comparable to what I have now. Which is 215/43 Crit, but only 106 ER. And that's with a Crit DMG helmet. And switching weapons means I'll be losing the Crit Rate main-stat from SS.

Bleh, a lot of work.

See, I consider it the opposite. Without a shield, you have to dodge. To dodge you need stamina. To have stamina, you need to not mash charged attacks or animation cancels or whatever. You also have to think harder about what you're doing. With a shield, you just press the button and stand there and face tank. My attentiveness to the game took a dive once I start using Zhongli. Literally just "oh, I'm taking damage. Lemme put the shield back up."

Now, enemies having shields, okay, sure. That adds a sort of depth because you might be effectively locked out of using one character. But character shields? Nah.

I am AR56. Finally just advanced it since Im trying to get every last primo I can for Eula banner before it disappears. For standard banner Im a minimum of 5 away from pity so thats cool too.

Holy fuck floor 11 of the Abyss feels impossibly hard. I got 0 stars for 11-3 because it took forever to kill the fucking triple mages two of which constantly spawn barriers and then having to deal with 2 Heralds in the second half. Even with Ganyu & Rosaria it was hard because those guys dont really let Ganyu charge arrows at all >_>

I got Eula!!!!! Took everything I had, but I got her. Vengeance is mine.

Now thats a greatsword I have. I also got a new one while trying to grab Eula that I didnt even know existed. Rainslasher is the name, but I dunno who if anyone Id use it on. Maybe Ill BP Serpent Spine one day. Looking forward to good times with Eula. Her story was amusing because of all the vengeance.

Apparently Mihoyo is fed up with people drip leaking future content so they went ahead themselves and did some drip marketing by officially revealing a couple characters on their Twitter if anyone wants to check it out.

Why is floor 11 so miserably annoying. I just cannot kill 2 ice mage girls plus an electro mage and then kill 2 Heralds in the time limit they give for 3*

I have a hard time clearing the heralds in any capacity, so I agree that it is annoying.

I have an insanely hard time freezing the Heralds when I have to fight 2 and theyre both spinning at me and launching projectiles and stuff. Try to charge to level 2 and just keep getting hit lol

Maybe your ganyu freezes the heralds. Mine freezes them for about 1 second, and then they're rushing me before the next shot gets off. And Ganyu is squishy.

Eula is so cute. Cant wait to have her built up. Too bad I STILL cant get any great fucking artifacts ever. Been trying the Eula domain and its all the wrong artifact or I finally get one from 160 resin only for it to be double HP and DEF ugh

My 5* pity from standard was Skyward Spine 5* spear. Wouldve much rather had a character, but oh well :(

I dunno if its even any good or not since Ive never seen it mentioned. If it is I could throw it on Xiangling, Rosaria or Hu Tao I guess.

Anyone have any info on how much EM is helping after the buffs? I just watched IWTL's video featuring overload dealing much more damage than before, but I'm kinda curious if I should look more into EM and/or transformative reactions than before. (Disclosure: I was never anti-electro reactions. I used Fischl extensively and have been exploring Beidou as of late.)

Both probably. I see people say you should have 1 main DPS and the rest of the team be like support and other stuff, but I feel like I dont really have any of that going on. Artifact wise I dont think I have anyone built for anything other than damage for ones I can actually get that arent plagued by 4 HP/DEF stats anyways...

Main DPS - Hu Tao, Ganyu, Diluc, Eula, Xiao, Childe
Sub DPS (reactions) - Bennett, Xingqui, Fischl, Beidou, XL, Mona, Venti
Support (healer/shielder) - Zhongli, Jean, Qiqi, Diona

A team of Sub DPS characters is also OK, mainly for reactions - so high EM would be good.

Most of my leveled characters appear to be main DPS lol. A few are sub DPS at least. Noelle kinda feels like she could be all 3 depending on her Cs.

I haven't built my Noelle yet.

None of my Geo characters have EM, all at zero, as it should be.
