Aside from the explicit stuff like when the abyss was targeting him, the devs have absolutely been incorporating content that seems to depend on whether you have a strong shield or not...although I think that has more to do with their raging hard-on for geovishaps. They gave us a geovishap boss, a floor 12 with geovishaps, a domain with just 2 geovishaps, several event encounters with geovishaps, a new world boss that's a distant cousin of the geovishaps. Plus, other encounters and new enemies have lent themselves to being battered swiftly and air juggled, which means not getting hit to begin with -- which isn't always possible just by dodging in some of these encounters. So yeah, shields have absolutely been taking over the game. --- Only the exceptions can be exceptional. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
