English version of D4DJ launches May 27. Between the whole "same server as JP oh wait never mind" situation and concerns that my phone might not even be able to run it well, I have my doubts that I'll be playing it long. But I'll give it a chance. I really liked the anime and more content with those girls would be fun to enjoy if the game itself is okay.

Probably no one plays anymore but just wanted to share that one of the OG gacha games and one of the first to take off in the west is pretty much done.

Brave frontier is officially producing no new content now and just keeping the usual monthly events rotating and servers open. All seasonal and LE units are added to the unit pool and the meta unit pool which includes these are 20% rates. It was a good 7 year run until just recently where the game started declining fast and hard and it was pretty obvious this was about to happen.

30 free rolls gave me nothing except a 4* and 5* CE.

Charged once and had to go through half of that stock before finally seeing gold. Thankfully, both Astraea and Reines showed up back-to-back.



Might throw a few more tickets or something, but I probably wont go for NP2 for either.

BF was my first gacha and probably the one I spent the most money on. It's been several years since I quit but I have fond memories of it.

All I know BF for is Lunaris, because she's my absolute favorite unit in The Alchemist Code. I like how so much of her stuff is named Shadow _____ (Shadow Breaker, Shadow Counter, Shadow Manipulation, etc.) because it reminds me of this part in The Simpsons lol

Was a very fun gacha with many play modes and things to grind for. Too bad the power creep was as bad as it was but I spent a lot of time and money on it. Fond memories.

Currently working on Spire since I no longer have the need to level my mains past level 50, predictably hit the roadblock that is floor 10. Anyone clear it yet? I 3*d Aiko and Iris and Im still having some issues with the damage ramp up. Trying to use Britney and Easter Satan to lighten the load, but not quite there yet.

Basically, I can get the mobs to about half health before my team starts dropping, but Im unsure if I need more damage, more heals, or just more Iris. Ive already pretty much exhausted my potential upgrade mats, so itd come down to farming fire toys or something.

The guild I'm in finally has enough active people to max out the demon core thing, so I took my free summon ticket and got another Lana >_> pretty nice.
Also finally got Shizuka!! And maxed out my Britney from the recruitment thing!! And got to lv44 earlier today!!!! I should probably get off my ass and beat some storyline chapters tho >_>

I hadn't even rally noticed the demon core before you mentioned it. The guild I'm in is just shy of 350 points *sigh*

My current roadblock is chapter 8-09. Maybe I need to be higher level, but I can barely damage the 2 guards and their AoEs just crush me.

Since Im on my Japanese account I figure Id try that BlazBlue game lol. The SRW game is kinda disappointing though. I really dont like the new attack mechanics that make it so that instead of sending an OP unit into a horde of enemies to build their morale and unlock their strong attacks quickly, you have to wait a set number of turns :<

Got a Top Operator and Defender tag in Arknights. Got Hoshi instead of Saria, sad times indeed.

Blemishine and Nearl are great, but Saria would've been a nice upgrade/medic replacement and Hoshi is... eh? Not bad by any means, just got plenty of other bulky/dps units can use.

At least she's not Passenger levels of useless.

Hoshiguma is probably the best standard Defender but I honestly feel like I wouldn't be taking a massive hit if I replaced her with Cuora or Liskarm (or Nian if I had her). I guess it's just defense being less exciting than offense, which is probably why they haven't released a single new 6* Medic until just recently and why all the other 6* Defenders have some offensive capabilities

Also, I only just now realized that evolving your girls to higher rarities changes how they look. The 2nd outfit (which unlocks at 4 stars for an SSR and 3 stars for an R or SR, not sure about N rarity girls) appears to just be a re-color with only minor visual changes otherwise, but the 3rd (which unlocks at 5 stars and I've only unlocked for Iris) seems to noticeably change the outfit. You can also change back to the older ones any time if you prefer.

I'm going to work on getting Satan to 5 stars next. I also have Aiko's second outfit unlocked, but I can't even post pics of her because her outfit is a constant ToU violation. I will say that she gets a cute little bow in her 2nd outfit in addition to a re-color, so that's nice.

Yeah, she's definitely decent but I already have Coura E2'd and got several others I need to E2 before Hoshiguma, so she'll be on the backburner for a bit and just used in trust farms for now.

Yeah, I've not really used Coura to begin with now have Nearl/Blemishine as both defend fine and can do more. I do sometimes use Nightingale/Shining over Ptilopsis depending on what the stage is.

And think that's probably a common misreading of their name, as Murdock is an actual name so easy to do if quickly reading.

Saria is a really strong character but compared to dedicated Defenders she can't really reach the same crazy defense values, so she has trouble surviving against any real powerhouse enemies. Then again, 12 operators doesn't let you cover everything, so it's probably fine. I switched out my Hoshiguma for Mudrock for the new chapter so I'll see how that goes.

and no, not since I heard the phrase "Mudrock's Mudrocks"

I'm really excited for Kaltsit since my Medics sort of feel like wasted slots that you're required to have for your characters to not die, being able to replace one of them with a character that can do stuff is appealing. I'll probably replace Warfarin, which is a pity because she's pretty cute but oh well.

I usually don't let Saria eat too much damage. I like to place her at a choke point with Blaze behind her and Schwarz a panel ahead so that she can activate her skill and shred the enemies that Saria is blocking :3

I'm not sure that works. You need 3 melee or 3 ranged. Despite what the icons say they are, some characters are treated differently. After putting a team together at the bottom it'll say "combination skill" if it doesn't show up then you didn't meet the requirements.

Yeah I have Shine Spark. I was freaked out at first because the instant I got the 3 of them to 5 stars it still said there was no combination skill. Turns out I had to exit the screen and come back for it to show up lol

FYI the entire team has to be 5* even Noxia even though you can sub her out for literally anyone (also 5*) and it'll still be there.

Yes. And the three matching need to be all melee or all ranged. 3 supports / 3 tanks don't work. FK is in a weird spot but I guess technically she can equip melee weapons.

Yeah they said they would quite a while ago. Thankfully the Union Attack only really comes into play in farm stages and story mode, though in story mode, it takes too long to charge for most boss battles. I'm not sure if most of W10-11 lets you either because they don't let you use your full party a lot of the times

There should be like an endless mode where you just keep going until you die. The enemies gain 3 levels every wave you kill.
