Why are you calling it Sausagefarer?

Just play methodically and try to build stuff on the ship whenever you can. There will be a lot of things you have to go back for later as you unlock new skills. Make lots of foods.

I downloaded this from Game Pass. Maybe my next Game Pass game after I beat The Messenger.

If you care about achievements, check a guide for how to get the last passenger to max happiness. She has a lot of dislikes and and its very easy to lock yourself out of doing so by doing things in the wrong order.

If the plat isn't too brutal I might go for it. But if it becomes too hectic (ie constantly juggling the animal people needs) I won't. It's a nice relaxing experience so far! only an hour or two in tho.

if I were British I'd call it Bangerfarer or Spiritbanger. If I was German I would call it Wurstfarer or something. but Americans tend to call them sausages.

Cool game, best to take it at your own pace and not look things up imo. But there are a couple of missable achievements as already said- generally just make sure you get each passenger to reach max happiness at least once (doesn't have to be concurrent or long lasting), and there's one later sidequest that has binary options and an achievement for each one, so you have to reload before the game saves and do the other if you want both achievs. We can tell you about that when you get there though.

That really doesn't answer my question.

Yeah I do this all the time. I find it way easier to play the indie games at least, though I did put over 200 hours in The Witcher 3 (bought and played the DLC since I liked it so much, though now the base game is off Game Pass and I never bought that!). But yeah, so much gets taken off I've been forcing myself to at least get into the indie games that interest me.

And Outer Wilds was downloaded for like 6 months before I finally played it, completely blind just knowing it was beloved, and now it's one of my favorite games of all time, if not my #1. Sometimes you just gotta get started.

If you spent 200 hours on TW3 on GamePass, wouldn't you have saved money by cancelling GamePass, buying The Witcher 3 separately, and then re-subbing after you finished?

Why are you assuming that they only played TW3 during that time?

We had a topic in the past year of our gaming habits, and there were a great chunk of us who juggle multiple games at the same time. I have about 2-3 multiplayer games that I play often while going through about 3-4 single player games concurrently.

I actually don't juggle multiple games at a time, usually, but I've had Game Pass over 2 years, got that whole convert your super cheap Xbox Gold into Game Pass Ultimate deal, and I must have played over 50 games via Game Pass in that time.

It's such a ridiculous deal it's incomparable to anything else in gaming. I literally payed under $180 for this. That's 3 full priced Switch games for over 50 games. It's pretty nuts and I still don't get M$'s business model unless Game Pass truly takes over the world in the coming years.

Game Pass is too good, it's reached the point for me where I don't buy short games I fancy because I figure they'll be on there eventually. It usually works, too! (Katana Zero, Crosscode, Dead Cells, Hypnospace Outlaw, The Messenger, Wandersong... no luck yet on The Witness, Obra Dinn or Baba is You but there's time!)

Okay so I got the frog guy. He eats everything and popcorn made him tell me about movie nights with his kids. He likes the rain likes noises and loves lumber. I guess he is an uncle.

I got the snake named Summer. She has a frankness to her personality.

Gwen seems a little upscale but not entirely snooty. No, thats Astrid. I stumbled across her island and protested workers rights and she is on the ship. I have so many people. I also have a request from Alice after giving her some sheep love. But she isnt on my boat yet.

I couldnt get beyond an ice wall. I just sat there for two days curious why the meter was going Sooo slow.

Ah, the first farewell... One of my fav little things is how the house remains afterwards, just an echo of what was. Great touch.

The first new content dropped recently so you might get an extra guest too!

Gwen - it was a bit odd that she seemed surprised about getting hugged. The game gives you few options to interact and the tutorial character seems almost put off by the hug. she does accept the hug, but it did make me feel... creepy? Ultimately it just speaks to her nature, and it sinks in that she (and subsequently the other animals) are important people in Stella's life. Her story is fine, it's a sad twist that her act of rebellion is what killed her. It makes sense - her relationship with her father seemed to define her life.

I think it's just that she's not as used to physical contact, maybe? She's definitely happy to be hugged.

having trouble writing up Summer. I really liked her, liked the noises she made and the use of the snake to make a humanoid style figure. Her ability to expand her mind and spirit and find beauty that she never knew before her illness is really compelling to me. Guess I'm having some troubles articulating my thoughts.
