When I started looking at calories not sinking back, I was shocked to see how.many were in things I was eating.
I'd think nothing of eating a store bought sandwich, a smoothie and a bag of crisps (Chips in the US)
It'd total around 900calories just for that little snack.
I've cut right back since.

Let to let you guys know

It's one of those pick your poison situations. Because if you do drop your calorie intake, you will feel unhappy not enjoying the foods you used to love, and you will have much less energy than before. But its prolly still worth losing the weight for health reasons. But just in general it won't do as much mentally as you think, at least not in my case

I have lower metabolism than you do, or you excersize regularly. Life is a gaming lottery, you take the cards you've been dealt with. I don't have the ability to eat good like you. I can either moan or just eat less.

Your bmr should be around 1600 calories a day. Your maintenance even for a sedentary lifestyle should then be like 1800ish

It's more likely you're just off on your calorie count

1) I have no idea, probably 4000 some not including beverages over a day. Today Ive eaten 2 bowls of cereal, yoghurt, 2 cups of coffee, half a pizza, bowl of ice cream, 2 or 3 White Claws, and 1/3 box of Oreos fwiw, and I will probably eat 2 more meals for the day.

2) Im more bothered by my height than my weight, but other than being in constant pain, I dont mind it. Truth be told, my doctor has told me time after time I wont have more than a decade to live so I might as well die fat.

I don't count my calories or weigh myself but when I was sick and hovering around 120-135 I was way too skinny for my frame. I'd guess I'm about 150 now and a lot healthier but I still think of myself as being too big sometimes because I used to be so small. I don't really eat much just because it's a hassle.

I think there might be some room for error, but I do the math by looking at the calorie count on most of the items I buy. I could see an error of maybe 50 or 60 calories here and there, but I highly doubt I'm off by 200 calories everyday. Not saying you're wrong, I would just be surprised by that

6 feet 2 here. Lowest I got was 125 pounds. Ripped to shreds but miserable as hell. Now up to 136 pounds. Planning on to get to 170 someday. Eating 2400-2800 calories a day via 2MAD.

I do, but I decided to start dieting for a few reasons

1. Physically I wouldn't feel too great. I would eat too many sweets and then feel congested, sometimes a little sick.

2. Mentally it bothered me because I used to be skinny in high school, And gained a lot of weight. And I was in denial that I gained weight for a long time.

3. In real life I'm kind of a loser, very socially awkward, etc. I knew losing weight wouldn't obviously fix my problems, but I figured it would be a big step for helping in the long run.

Im 135 lbs 56 here. Could eat 1000-1200 calories a day for a week then eat 6k calories in a day and itd feel like not much of a change. It seems my weight hardly changes these days too after getting over the BMI hump as they call it years ago, it just the size of my tummy depending on my workouts/what kind of food Im eating.

it took probably at least a year and a half of consistent diet and exercise to originally break that threshold and get below 150 lbs at my height 5ish years ago. That was a jump of 205 lbs down to below 150. That final few lbs was incredibly incredibly difficult. Then it became super easy to stay around 135 or get back to it even if I balloon up for a few months once I finally broke through that

I've sort of adopted a strategy like that. A couple times I have cheated on my diet. Maybe like once a month I'll get like five guys or something. today is my birthday, and I indulged heavily on diner food, pizza and ice cream. I feel like absolute shit, and this is an example of when I do enjoy dieting
