I'm pretty confused on what direction MHA is going in, this is a big shift for the tone of the series and Deku particularly. There was a realism to how not influential Deku was to the world because he was just a student, and now he's like Batman. Will have to wait and see on the status of UA I guess.

The problem with a 4th season and why they haven't done one yet is to reach a satisfactory ending for the season they'd have to cover the entire OPBF saga which means it would have to be as long as season 1 was

I wasn't really able to follow along with basically anything about the end of JoJolion there the last year or so. Like I know there's another chapter or 2 but it's basically over.

I'll probably go back and reread it once the last chapter actually comes out but def not gonna be my fav part anytime soon.

I really enjoyed the ability of Wonder of U and the way the fight ended was unexpected, but this seems too soon to be ending and there's still quite a few dangling plot threads but it tried to wrap up 3 or 4 of them in a single sentence. On the other hand YASUHO STOP THIS GOD DAMNED BITCH ALREADY! was a pretty good line. A lot of my ideas about how this fight would actually go were a lot more fantastical than what actually happened.

As it stands right now it's my 2nd favorite JoJo part, but without a strong ending it might dip a bit. I still think Gappy himself though has been the best individual JoJo though. Man's a straight up killer.

The main thing going forward though is now Gappy needs to find another way to cure Holly with the Rokakaka gone and I don't think they can end it without at least addressing that.

Zombieland Saga finale was... interesting. The CG is so vastly improved from the first season. Some decent new songs and the "Avengers, Assemble" moment culminating in the Drive-In-Tori mascot arriving was peak cinema.

Was that an alien invasion beginning at the end or something? I feel like that's the logical next step...

Slime S2 - I still gotta get back to S1 because Im trash at watching anime and have been for years now. Just got too many games man.

Maid Dragon S2 - First season was fine enough so Ill watch this one too most likely.

Villainess S2 - I think people said this was good before, but I have never even checked it out.

The Detective Is Already Dead - I expected this to be a mystery, but its listed as a comedy/drama. Best looking waifu is the dead one :(

Vanitas no Carte - Anime vampires. Wonder if it will be one of the few decent ones or if it will suck.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom - It doesnt outright say it, but this looks like MCs harem as king. Doesnt really sound too interesting.

Girlfriend, Girlfriend - MC sounds like a real piece of shit lmao. Confesses to the girl of his dreams who accepts his feelings, but another girl asked him out and he said yes because she was cute and he didnt want to choose. LMAO hope it ends with the dude being forever alone. Best thing about this dumpster is the female VA cast. Some great stuff there.

The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! - This sounds like it could be really funny so I hope its good.

Aquatope of White Sand - The last time PA Works made a show about water it sucked ass, but not only that theyve made a lot of mediocre to bad shit for a while now so its hard to take any interest. Their art is always pretty at least!

I saw Jahy-sama is getting two cours which I'm very excited about because from what I've read of the manga the anime should be great. Really nice to see that Nagatoro before this and Komi are also getting adapted to complete the trinity.

Chainsaw PV will be out within the hour. Some screencaps leaked and already I'm hyped as fuck.

Not sure I ever looked forward to an anime as much as this. Trying not to be too excited with the bar set so high.

Also last night was proof that Japanese presentations continue to be the most frustrating thing on earth.

There was apparently a bunch of interesting looking upcoming MAPPA series shown, but the entire first hour was an interview with the Zombieland Saga girls and I just capped out.

And yet there were still 100k+ viewers at all times and Chainsaw Man was trending #1 on Twitter before the show even started.

Definitely either the most excited I've ever been for an upcoming anime or at least close to it.

I hope this doesn't become another Demon Slayer for me, which everyone and their mother hyped up about and I ended up finding good but not amazing. I've been holding off on reading Chainsaw Man but everyone shits themselves over it wherever I see it

It's a very different beast then Demon Slayer, just in terms of what it is.

I also would not say the upcoming anime is a reason to not read the manga. It has a style all of its own, some of which just isn't going to translate over.

I loved Demon Slayer but I would have been the first to tell you it was just a simple action show at the end of the day. The popularity really took me by surprise.

That's the combination of an extremely high production anime combined with a very accessible premise and a unique art style.

Had Demon Slayer had gotten the Pierrot WSJ treatment we'd be looking at a very different outcome.

Sonny Boy - Madhouse sci-fi survival series. Ive seen a lot of anime news on it so it sounds like people are fairly excited about it.

Remake Our Life - Game creator disappointed with his life gets to travel back 10 years and get a second chance not that you can tell its about game creating when the display art is showing off boobs lol

100-man S2 - Didnt even care enough to do the title properly. Did anyone even watch the first season? I cant recall anyone ever talking about it at least.

Peach Boy Riverside - Probably a better demon series than Demon Slayer

Mahouka spin-off - Imagine wanting to watch a spin-off about MCs bad sister

RE-MAIN - Lmao why MAPPA

The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace - Another MAPPA series, but one that might actually be worth checking out or at least more interesting than the previous one on the chart.

The Duke of Death & His Maid - Maid likes to tease her young master who is cursed with everything he touches dying. Goddamn that maid must have an actual death wish, but then again the MC is basically your average harem MC anyways since a lot of them act like touching somebody will kill them.

Higurashi S2 - I saw the original way back and still dont know if I care to watch this or not.

Scarlet Nexus - No way Im watching this before I play the video game.

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy - MC is summoned as a hero to a fantasy world, but the goddess says hes ugly and takes away his hero status. What a concept.

Spirit Chronicles - Just does not sound even remotely interesting to me.

Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist - SO. MANY. ISEKAI. MC goes to another world and opens a drug store in a world lacking healing medicines.

The Dungeon of Black Company - Oh boy yet another isekai. This one is about a guy who ends up enslaved by a crooked corporation. He just wants to make a ton of money because money is everything. How exciting.

Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory - Shockingly not an isekai, but unfortunately an ecchi series starring a 12 year old boy and some college girls.

Magia Record S2 - lmao

Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan - A comedy series, but one I am not really interested in checking out. Maybe if it gets good reception?

Love Live Superstar - Maybe one day I will actually watch this series of idol shows
