What's everyone's strategy here? Lopen and Chris are playing with options, I believe. Is everyone else looking to sell in the $3 range and then buy back in if it dips? Or take this long?

I have $100 of it at .91 average

I have 2500 shares and 100 calls (60 July 2.5, 40 April 2.5)

Strategy is

1. Hope it flies this week to $2.5+
2. Sell covered calls for Mar 19 on literally all of it for $4 if the contract price on that ever goes to $0.05+
3. Wait for squeeze next week (it will if it crosses $2.5)
4. Sell all calls at that pop. Sell covered calls on all shares for a pretty ambitious price in hopes that I keep my shares (if it pops to $6, sell them for $8)

If it doesn't go to $2.5 I have no clear exit point but feel safe holding long. Through 2024

I have 2222 shares, if it doubles then my Disney stay is covered, so might just sell. But I could probably also just hang onto it and sell right before I actually go to Disney and it'd likely be a better decision. I just don't really know why I have DNN in the first place, hence 1000 shares at 1.52.

Anyone with any idea what the fuck caused BTC and ETH to tank last night?

Was it one of the major pools dumping again? This kept happening last month with F2Pool consciously tanking the Bitcoin price and tbh I'm okay with it coz the longer it keeps lower it's just delaying the inevitable for me to get more into it, but I just want to be sure that's the case.

I think it happened last time on a Sunday night as well, just an absolute tankjob.

For a VERY small window (think like the Nokia squeeze) I think it's possible next week if this week ends at $2.50 or higher.

If it doesn't get to $2.50 this week gamma squeeze is off the table and no I don't think it's possible but still really love the stock as a 2023-2024 hold.

Im trying to follow through on my abandonment of day trading. I have almost all my money invested, I only have $20k left. And I dont plan on touching DNN again.

Also as someone who loves AMC I feel like if you want to day trade for some money buying a put on AMC at its current price should lead to nice gains within the week? Would surprise me if it just shot to the moon right now.

Yea I personally don't see any attractive options play for amc right now unless you want more shares.

In which case selling a 12 strike put for this week either makes you a dollar per share or gets you a cost basis of 11. I don't find 11 a good enough price for me to do it though

Yeah, the hype for the gamma squeeze is what could cause it to run all week, and the actual gamma squeeze happening would cause it to moon like mad but you better get out quick. It will take years to see the long term profit from their huge uranium deposit find, but it's definitely a stellar long term hold because of that.

I'm in for the quick bucks/social arb trade for now. It was all over reddit this weekend...echoes of my AMC and ENZC trades are ringing in my head. I hope we at least retest 1.50s today or tomorrow.

last year I think was about having fun with volatility and I definitely made some dumb plays and sold good stocks way too early. I put that into ETH at 475 so I didnt pay the price but I recognize that I should have stayed in. Last year was too much fun tho

I agree with Chris 100%. If you're trying to understand daily crypto spikes/dips, you're going to go insane. Just invest and check back in every few months.

Like Tesla, PTON has a long way it could fall if the market turns bearish again, so just be aware of that. I'm bullish on PTON even post pandemic because their management is brilliant, but I think the super bulls exaggerate with them still. I don't particularly like your buy in price with that much capital at stake, but I'm certainly not advocating you to panic sell if there's a major down day or anything. PTON is definitely not a stock you should ever worry selling for a loss.

Are there any near term catalysts that I'm not aware of with them though? Reopening is not good for them short term considering how they were viewed primarily as a Covid investment for a long time. I suspect as long as recovery stocks keep going up, PTON will slowly dip until institutions can't resist buying back.

Side note you'll probably have an exit point for CREX soon should you choose to take it. There's a virtual presentation conference on 3/17. Hype for that will probably push it over $2.27. Not the major spike we're waiting for but if you have doubts, that'll probably be an exit valve.

Sold about half of my AMC position today in chunks, all for a profit - currently have 10 shares left as well as a $35 3/19 call that I bought for 9 bucks last Friday that I'm going to let ride until tomorrow.
