We had precisely one day without Charizard in the new game.

Edit: Apparently it's not official that the merch is for the gen 4 remakes, Serebii doubts it will be for that particularly. So no confirmation of megas yet.

Alright so, thoughts: BD and SP look like absolute garbage to me. I literally said ew out loud to myself when it opened on that chibi Dawn. I have no problem with a chibi style but this one looks straight up bad, like a knock off mobile game. Which, go figure, it's being made by a mobile game company. But then the battles are still in the modern style and graphics, which actually clashes horribly with the weird ugly overworld style they've chosen? Like someone else mentioned earlier, I want a modern interpretation of the old games with a remake, not a 1 for 1 remake that somehow looks worse than the original. Oh well, I'll just pass this time. And guess I'll let go of my excitement of B/W remakes if this is the direction they're going now. Oh and $60 lol.

Now Legends was much more impressive and ambitious which I definitely appreciate. But like everyone has pointed out, holy shit that frame rate ooooof. I want to be excited but I just don't trust GF whatsoever so I'll take a wait and see approach here, but I am foolishly hopeful.

Chibi Dawn is the one thing I actually like

didn't like anything else about it (like you say, I prefer the modern interpretations Pokemon remakes have had until now) but chibi dawn is adorable

I hope they put Charizard in. It makes sense because it has the most fans, but mostly just to stick it to its whiny haters that are more obsessed about it than its fans.

My stream ended before it was over because it buffered so many times that I was actually 2 minutes behind the live feed by the end of it.

I had the same problem as well. The stream was crapping out on a regular basis and even refreshing it didn't help because my stream seemed to be behind sometimes.

I'm guessing the price is dictated by Nintendo (who publishes the game), and the developer has no say in what the retail price should be. If Nintendo wants it to be $60, then that's going to be the price regardless if the developer thinks it shouldn't cost that much.
