Well both parties over promise when they're not in power for one thing. I do think we'll get another round of checks now that dems are in power, but you've seen the kind of cutoffs they've been talking about right? I imagine schools and state and local governments will be the big winners of the next round of relief and we'll get somewhat less than the Dems promised (perhaps even less than the $1400)

I dunno though I was just answering the question.

I seriously believe the dems wouldn't fight so hard for equal rights if it wasnt a way to sell themselves to the people. Most anyways. I actually do believe bernie and AOC believe the messages they speak.

But that definitely seems to be the dem thing promise people what they wanna hear. Equal rights, free this free that and naturally they gotta make some effort to make it happen or people would drop them quick. Technically the repubs do the same but they cater to a specific group (the majority I.e. white Christians)where as the dems try to spread themselves out to more demographics as iirc if you counted all the minority groups against the majority they do outnumber the majority.

They do a little. As said they got to or people would quickly realize how bogus they are. I mean gay marriage is legal now. Anything they fail to do they can blame the republicans for blocking them. Sometimes true sometimes they didnt out forth enough effort.

Idk why but i just thought about a video where random black citizens where interviewed on the dems claim voter id laws where racist based on black people having difficulty getting an id and a lot of them seemed offended by the implication. That said though I do think ids should be free. Basicalky if law requires you have it it should be provided

Stimulus checks aren't really helpful to people or the economy.

Most people save them or use them to pay off debts which does very little for the actual economy.

That money would be better invested into a secure social safety net so if someone loses their job, they don't have to worry about losing their home, or dying because they can't afford healthcare.

Stimulus costs us all more in the long run. Not that I'd expect anything less from the GOP since they worship at the alter of Keynesian economics.
