Yazarogi 02/15/21 9:59:23 AM #14:	Kansas is getting fucked, lost power at 2 AM. well I didnt realize the heat pump shouldnt be turned on immediately after a power outage that lasts longer then 30 minutes (it was roughly 3 hour outage) and fell asleep before the power came back on, I guess if you dont want for the refrigerant to thaw after that it can do something called coolant slugging so really hoping the power outage wasnt a $1,500 issue despite not being my fault and not understanding that mechanism of the heat pump. I've never seen snow like this in central Texas and I've never driven in snow, so I figured I'd do it just for the experience. My car has AWD and handled it much better than a couple cars I saw with RWD. I still slid a little bit when taking turns a little too fast, but the car quickly regained traction. Someone's Escalade got stuck in the snow. I helped them get out.
