this beezlebub manga is another manga with 200+ chapters that has conflict with no threat

it's stupid.

it's like fuckin negima or uq holder, in that things just happen, the main character receives an insane power boost after a day of "training" that consists of one page, and then becomes so obscenely powerful that there was no point to anything.

i hate this. nothing worth anything happens.

and for some reason, what little character development there actually is, only happens to the minor characters that don't mean anything.

Yep author is the chinese Im dal young if I remember right. Series went a long time with no updates from the author and I never went back to it.

I don't watch Calliope's streams, but it just hit me that she sounds extremely similar to Pyra/Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and now I can't unhear it.

If you're looking at Chinese novels Long Live Summons is probably my favorite one, the MC is op as fuck and just trolls everyone. Doulou Dalu is good, the ending was kinda shitty though. Release that Witch was solid. Cultivation Chat Group is an enjoyable read as well.

main character is a sassy little bastard who powers up off of people feeling intense emotions about him, which is usually anger at being memed on

I remember reading a few chapters of some random Chinese one. Don't remember the name or most of the plot. Think it was about demons and was also a romance series. Pretty sure it was in color like Tales Of Demons And Gods too. I liked what I read but I lost the link or something and then forgot the series name when I got busy with other stuff.

I couldn't even bring myself to start reading it a few years ago when people were talking about how bad the novel was. It was funny because I liked most of the authors other novels.

beat ryza 2

bos has almost been confirmed as a playable character for 3 as he brings it up explicitly, and bos' feelings for kilo seem to legitimately be pure respect vs his feelings for ryza being ambiguously romantic. the ship is at port and ready to sail

7.5/10 good but not great atelier, the changes to the battle system makes it a ton simpler but there's also no real need to constantly try to improve yourself either. alchemy's better than it's ever been though. ryza 1's system plus the ability to upgrade/sidegrade any node on a limited basis makes things pretty interesting

main plot sucks as is usual for atelier but the characters are still good. also the pacing as always is fucky as hell. end of the game felt a lot more sudden than ryza 1

the new exploration shtick is being amazing and horrible. you have to do 5 specific things before you can begin tapping lights strewn around a zone, and it's not always clear exactly what you need to do (I got stuck for a few hours because i had to break like 3 specific jars in a deep part of the map to harvest a specific material that seemed to just be there for the sake of the exploration objectives. you can't even begin collecting the lights until after that, then you have to explore the entire 3-stage zone all over again to collect them all, and THEN you have to do a dumb matching keywords thing to fill out a journal

the actual lore contained in these segments is really good, and you get to see conversations between recurring historic characters, but the whole process feels so sloooooooooow

anyways patricia best girl and bos best dude. his character development over 1 and 2 are easily the best parts of both games

The only one I know in that list is Tonikaku Kawaii, and I've only read the manga.

But the manga is really really good. It's from the same author of Hayate the Combat Butler.

So in One Step From Eden.....

I become an Ice God as Seliacy.

I was throwing down so many ice and fire storms so fast that by the time I was on my 3rd loop the game became way too laggy and I couldnt even move out of the way of Seph's attacks.

I now have 110 hours, I think I am going to try to take a break till the next update.
