Well if you did already, just keep trying with Zeus. We all had that one aspect that took forever to unlock. I didn't get the Aspect of Gilgamesh til days after I got the rest of them

I kind of wish the game rewarded you for using different aspects in the same way it rewards you for using different weapons.

Like I keep wanting to use say, Lucifer, but I've already invested all my points into Eries, so that's what I'm pushing with to get more bloods.

Also, I agree with this. After guan yu and excalibur I farmed bloods to max the other aspects and mained them for a while

I got every achievement and have 4/6 weapon 40 heat clears, most aspects done at 32 of 36, 200 or so clears. Dabbled in speed a little, got an 11 minute finish, would have been faster but 3 sack eh.

Think I'm approaching 'done'.

Got the 10 clears for the ending after 53 runs. There's still so much left to do. Unlocked my first companion today as well.

I'm stuck at the third boss. I've gotten to them consistently and I know the general strategy (Take out the bull first) but I feel like I'm only scratching scratch damage to them most of the time. I got there with the spear, sword, gun and claws and the most I did was kill the bull off but failed to kill Thesus.

i'm confused on what i need to do to advance the Queen's Plan prophecy. i have like 3 or 4 Olympians who have one locked heart left on their friendship meters or whatever, but whenever i get their boon they don't have anything new to say and there's no option to gift them any nectar or ambrosia.

There are certain conditions to unlock the hearts, just like every other character, its probably best to just look them up. I know for Aphrodite for example you need to max out you relationships with Meg, Thanatos, and Dusa to unlock her locked heart, Dionysus requires you to have gifted at least 10 total ambrosia spread out to least 6 different characters before you unlock his, etc...

If you need help this is my general strategy with them.

Stay in the outside and fight the bull so if the king throws his spear, it'll hit the pillar. After the bull is down still stick to the outside. Wait for the spear to get thrown and hit the pillars then dash through it and take some shots while he's walking backwards. Rinse and repeat. This is what I did until I become more confident in the fight where I just fight them wherever and dodge attacks as they come.

oh shit, i just looked this up, thanks. i didn't realize there were such intricate requirements for affinity in some cases. yeah, Aphrodite is one of the ones i need. i just have more heart to get with Dusa for that though. and i guess i need to catch some more fish and then talk to Poseidon, but tbqh i'm pretty sure i've already caught at least 18 fish, probably more. and then the last one i have is Artemis. not sure if there's supposed to be a way to trigger Artemis' dialogues about Callisto or if you are just supposed to keep talking to her until you get the right dialogues. i think she's only mentioned Callisto once that i can remember.

Artemis dialogue is random I believe, and for Poseidon make sure you catch a fish on your current run before you accept a boon from him on the same run

It helps if you get the mini boss fight where you face the Bull by himself, so you can learn his general pattern. Here's my tips for the 2 of them though:

1. Yes, take out the bull first, but absolutely don't rush it. Your window of opportunity is right after he does a leap slam attack. He'll do 2 wide sweeps first (stay the hell away from these) and then a leap slam, and thats when you dash out the way and then immediately dash back in and attack. There are a couple of other small windows but thats the safest. Watch out though because sometimes he does a second slam. Also if he runs at you try and get him to go head first into a wall or pillar. Basically, try and keep at a medium distance, just outside the reach of his sweep attack, and be ready to rush in after his leap slam.
2. You need to always be looking out for Theseus. Stay at a distance from him and wait until you see a purple crosshair on your body. This means he's about to throw his spear (he'll only throw it if you're outside his melee range). Immediately position yourself so that there's a pillar between you and theseus. The spear throw will be blocked by the pillar. This is the number 1 way to avoid damage in this fight. If you can't get behind a pillar in time, you can do a dash at the perfect timing, but its risky. His spear comes out fast but there's an odd delay between the time that the crosshair appears and when he throws it. Hermes boons that make you dash more often or move faster or be speedy after dashing are incredibly helpful for this fight. If in doubt you can just do laps around the outside of the colloseum and keep dashing and the chance of being hit by his spear is low.
3. Assuming you beat the bull, the spear throw is your window of opportunity to get shots in on theseus. After he throws the spear and retrieves it, he will always walk in the opposite direction of you for a couple of seconds. Go rush him and get in a few shots. Don't stick around though as he will do a spin attack that is lethal if you're too close.
4. At half health, theseus will call the Gods. There's a bit of luck to this as he'll be open to attack for 5 or so seconds, but it depends how lucky you are with the Gods attack he calls. Some gods are easy to dodge and others are an absolute nightmare with huge AOE attacks. Either way, your strategy at this point is to dodge all the gods attacks and also keep doing the same strategy with theseus - hide behind pillars, wait for him to throw the spear, rush in and get some shots off.
5. It really helps to have a powerful call, because once theseus calls the gods you can do the same, he'll stand there for about 5-10 seconds and you can wail on him.

*small edit. Sometimes the bull does 3 leap attacks. Youre basically just waiting until he resumes a neutral position with his axe back on his shoulder.

i just got Artemis to talk about Callisto some more, so that was good. but i've caught fish during a run and then ran into Poseidon on that same run twice now, and he didn't say anything about it either time and his affinity didn't go up or anything. this is kinda frustrating.

Have you caught the highest rarity of fish in any biome yet? If so, you also need to have two of the following: Oceans Bounty, Sunken Treasure, Conch Shell. Obviously the best way to hunt for it is to make sure youre using the keepsake so you only have to grab one of those otherwise trash boons

Bruh, 76 runs and Achilles/Patroclus still haven't advanced their dialogue enough to even get the prompt for Achilles' favor, and even when that happens there will still be the RNG for Nyx to give the contract location.

On the positive side, I've now finished farming all the Legendary boons (had 3 stacked on a single run) and am 1 Duo away (Demeter/Aphrodite) from finishing that

Supposedly due to a bug a perfect catch is supposed to produce a legendary fish 50% of the time, but Ive completed the journal entries for every fish Ive caught so far including the Voidskate and all three fish in Greece, and Ive still never seen the legendary fish for Tartarus or Elysium, and Ive never seen the common fish in Chaos. Id say I get a perfect catch about 70% of the time as well. Some of the rng in this game is brutal.

I'm on a streak of picking Bouldy summon, then forgetting to use him on the Furies fight until towards the end, so I'm whittling their health down, then I'm like "Oh right, almost forgot" and then a giant boulder falls from the sky and SPLAT, the fight is over.

I beat the 3rd bosses finally! The 4th area is gonna be a pain the backside with all those poisoned enemies, though...

Try using a ranged weapon and playing as lame as you can possibly imagine

there's no time limit so you're perfectly capable of just camping each enemy for 20 seconds

Aspect of Chiron with the Bow all the way for me. However, if I get the correct Boons, I'm better with the Spear with Zagreus.

If the poison is bothering you a lot I recommend not getting poisoned :p

seriously though, use the broken spearpoint if poison is that much of an issue for you. it gives you a significant amount of time to get over to a cure spot without really taking any damage from it

im surprised so many of you guys like the bow. its definitely my weakest weapon because i feel like it's just too slow for the pace of the game. i also struggle to do good damage with it. using Chiron my general approach is to put something on the special focused on # of hits rather than damage% -- so Dionysis or Zeus. then i put high damage% or Ares on attack. even with 6 shots / special and Epic Dion boon at level 2 or 3 i dont feel like my dps is very good.

Aspect of Hades is fucking awesome, especially once you level it to 3 or higher for +90% damage. initiate a fight using a fully charged spin and then stab everything to death. works especially well with the 'mighty spin' hammer upgrade for +200% damage and larger AoE. throw a good damage% boon on there (aph, demeter) and baby you got a stew goin'.

the upgrade that lets you charge the special is pretty nice too, especially when stacked with a nice damage % boon. i was throwing 400-500 damage spears in my last run.

dude, you're far enough along with the meta progression you can probably take that off. i used to really struggle to even make it to Styx and now i almost always make it there with all 3 DDs active. of course, play the way that's most fun to you, but a considerable part of the fun of the game is the tension created by fights being tough.

I love the hidden spear aspect. If you get the fast charge + bigger spin radius hammer upgrades you can do a ton of DPS just from charge attack spam

The lower max health can be scary but if you're good enough with positioning you can heal up fairly quickly after getting hit.

Bow has some pretty insane damage potential. Triple shot + Explosive shot hammer upgrades combined with aspect of Zag had me pretty much melting everything. Add on Poseidon attack boon and more crit damage from Artemis and it's just stupid how much damage it does.

Alternative you can go with hidden aspect and load up on Zeus boons, the special fires so fast that the lightning bolt damage adds up insanely quick. Get the double bolt boon as well as jolted effects and what not and you're gonna laugh your way through the run.

finished my first run with it last night. yes, at first i was terrified of only starting with 35 hp. but once i realized the POWER OF THE SPIN and how quickly it regens HP, i was fine. i combined it with Athena's call so if i ever did end up in a sticky situation i used the call for enough invulnerability to charge up a spin or two to gain back 5-10 HP.

at first i really hated the slower attack speed. then i kinda realized that forces you to charge / spin more, which is where the real power of the weapon lies. i had Artemis attack on and since the spin hits like 5x, i was getting in a crit almost every time i went through an enemy (combined with Hunters Mark, yum yum)

i had the big spin, but not fast charge. would have been even sexier with it.

i've learned to listen for the sound of the blow darts. when i hear that very distinct "squishy" sound i just dash, or make sure to get behind cover.
