If you were the Dad, would you be mad if you got your kid his dream gift only to be given away to charity?

13 y/o Colton Burrows wanted a PS5 the moment he heard the announcement it was to be ready for Christmas this year...not to disappoint him, his Dad, Tony said he will fight crowds to get him that console..and he DID!!

Tony said he fought against THOUSANDS of people waiting in line in Merrill, Wisconsin to buy that dream present for his son..

Colton had said "I saw my other friends had it and i really wanted to try it out for Christmas. I was ready to unbox it there and get my hands on it and try it out when i opened it"

But Colton DIDN'T try it because then his dad had told him another family in need is not having such a good year and is in financial trouble....

So Colton wanted to give back instead and decided to RAFFLE his dream gift on FACEBOOK marketplace and donated the funds to that family!!

Tony Burrows said "We have everything we need. It is special and nice ot know you can help out people when they are in need"

Colton said "I have a lot of stuff that a lot of people do not have and it hought it was the right thing to do"

Tony says to try your best to do small acts of kindness and when you get your chance you can do to bigger acts of kindness

The family who is getting the funds do not know about this as they will be MAILING the cheque to them next Monday as they raised quite a lot for them...

If you were the Dad, you would be mad if you spent hours in line and fighting crowds to get that PS5 only for them to give it away for charity?

There is little reason to own a PS5 right now, and this is coming someone who has bought every PS console ever made.

I wouldn't be mad about this at all. I'd actually be proud that my son isn't selfish. After a gift is bought and given to someone it's their call what they do with it after that. Although if it was one of my kids a heads up would be nice and by the sound of it his dad was all for with this gesture.

Maybe initially, but I would self-resolve and accept and appreciate that my actions in getting the gift were not a waste and enabled my son to perform his act of generosity.

Pretty much these. It'd be a little frustrating to put that much effort in and not have the gift be used the way I expected it to be, but the kid's being kind and generous enough in doing this that it's not hard to accept that this is the better outcome and be proud of him.
