I saved the Steelers for this week because I burned the Rams week 4. Reg gets a free pass on the Ravens if he wants to use them here. Xuxon's best pick looks to be the Titans. It's a clear step down but not bad at all. I wouldn't go near most of these games for a suicide pick (even if I'm lock alling this week), but again everyone has a game with a very heavy favorite active. --- So a planet's somewhere out there, their history the same as ours is written. I'm going to be picking against the Jets (1, 3, 6, 9, 14), Giants(4, 7, 8), Jaguars (2, 5, 11, 13) and Bengals (15, 17) 14 times this season. The only exceptions will be when I picked the Saints, Packers, and Chiefs. For what it's worth between the two I think the Titans are better, but the Eagles with Hurts aren't a great sample size either. --- So a planet's somewhere out there, their history the same as ours is written. The team has talent. I would say the Cowboys after losing Dak are actually worse than the Bengals after losing Burrow, but I don't think I ever had to pick against them bc the Jets and Jags are so terrible. btw, as a Titans fan, even as bad as the Titans secondary is, with no Kenny G and an injured-at-best Stafford the Titans should win that game easily. Oh Im not as mad about it as I would be had I lost to the Jags, but I am so over morons telling me how smart Sean Mcvay is. You dont get to lose to the Jets at home as a 17 point favorite and be considered a good coach. 3rd and 4, Williams out, running at will, and this useless dipshit calls two deep pass plays instead of running the ball or kicking a FG to tie. I dont ever want someone trying to convince me him or Kyle Shamahan knows what theyre doing. They both fucking suck. Yeah... hard to argue with any of that. I would still tend to blame Goff over McVay. Can debate run vs. pass as the overall calls on those 2 plays you mention but there were short targets available too. McVay can put the guys on routes but he can't make Goff pick a receiver. The game plan / scheme is more on McVay for sure, the way they play, coming back is hard. The running clock was definitely noticeable. But Goff also may play a part in that as well, running the huddle digesting the defense etc. And I feel like McVay has to talk Goff through every game, just constantly in his ear.
