I might take it, but there are several things I want to see in that offer, main one being that pager rotations are voluntary and merit based. I spent 11 years carrying a pager one week a month, and my main reason for being a contractor was so I don't have to do it again. If I do decide to go on a pager rotation, I want to be compensated properly for it. I had one department I interviewed for say that was the case, but I want to make sure I get that in writing (since I don't plan on volunteering for that anytime soon, unless I want some extra money). --- I am a Contract Software Developer.
