Stuff like Animal Crossing... but not as in clones of that formula. Just chill, long-play stuff. Rollercoaster Tycoon or Zoo Tycoon could fall under that same banner, for instance. I love high-intensity stuff like DMC and Black Ops, but there are I times I want slow or turn-based things to just relax with.

The only thing I don't want any more of is Sony Game. Enough with the cinematic third-person adventures with some cover shooting/stealth, blips of comedy, etc. It's like they just go down a checklist to make the games and it fucking blows. Miss me with that pleb shit. I am so stoked the PS5 seems to be moving away from all that. Demon's Souls? GT7? The Pathless? Keep 'em coming, boys! The only sequels to PS4 games I want are Bloodborne and Until Dawn. UD looks like Sony Game, but it's really not. I think Resistance had the best lore out there at that moment, and it's too bad things went astray so far... I hope they reboot it.

Something modeled after JPRGs in the 90s in terms of gameplay and overall design, but with two to five endings that make sense for that game, coherent writing that makes sense of playable characters who are together despite different backgrounds, less emphasis on grind and more on varying or fleshed-out content, and zero straying from sex actually happening between any two characters should their dynamic reach that point in the writing.

It will never get made for obvious reasons, but I want to play an overly detailed high school sim that climaxes with a school shooting. Obviously it would be near impossible to pull off without coming across in poor taste, but I think there's untapped story potential there and it speaks inherently to some of the many problems in America. I also think being in the medium of video games will lend it a deeper potential for poignancy. It could be quite a powerful piece of art in the right hands. It'll never get made though.

The same problem with movies, television, and any other video related industry. The human race seems to have run out of original ideas.

If you want new and original content, by necessity you cannot look at whatever the biggest name is in the ring, you need to look at smaller titles. And you also need to accept that new and different aren't necessarily going to mean good, and it's almost certainly not going to mean high production values.

We currently have access to basically the largest volume of experimental content in history, it's just at the same time the big names are more popular than ever.

I want animal crossing/stardew valley to have a baby with resident evil. Basically the apocalypse happened and now your teying to survive. You gotta build defenses, raise live stock(find animals that survived in farms and the such), find survivors and raise a community. Eventually you make a small bastion of hope in a destroyed world.

Have a system similar to the workshop from fallout 4 but instead you building everthing you get the resources (other survivors help too), then your people will start a repair/upgrade cycle.

The first thing people build are shacks the keep out critters but not nature. Find digging tools they can make cellears. Get an mason and cement they can now make foundations and basements. This leads to better homes better morale and a higher safety rating. Like a brick houses with metal doors will not be able to be damaged by zoms or feral wildlife but are susceptible to raiding parties, bunkers and reinforced metal structures will be immune to raiding parties and are resistant to assault groups.

Raiders may not be a bad thing while they will not help with your facilities they might be conscripted to help police the walls.

As far as the map have it set no procedural generation. Suggested maps would be traveled between and not your base.
1. Rural land- higher natural resources but lacking in inherent supplies outside of contested locations like hardware stores
2. Increased supply availaility but increased enemies and destroyed building gs that must be reclaimed to open development room
3. City-all out war unique opp for large scale buildings to be repaired for use but frequent assault groups and feral enemies make holding these buildings challenging without a higher population
4. Seaside port-cargo containers lead to loot but you may have harder times getting by enemies especially if they corner you on a dock
5. Capital-can find advanced workers if they are still alive

Also let since structures are static you can mark items for reclaimation for bonus resources. Different tools give you different things. Like pickup trucks can take larger resources back, tow trucks can bring cars back for recycling/repair, cutting rigs allow the reclaiming of metal structures, backhoes can clear land for natural rssource gain and allow other vehicles to travel

Seriously why M rated might as well be teen given the player base of those titles. Why is skyrim rated m, I saw more in the pg movie Conan the Destroyer,

Give the games a reason to be rated r. Dont just make a game for the 14-25 demo and slap a m rating on it

Pretty much. Yes, there are tons of sequels, spinoffs, and other highly derivative games coming out, and they tend to dominate the mainstream conversation and advertising space by virtue of being more recognizable and higher budget, but there is also tons of high-quality original content coming out that doesn't get mainstream attention. You've gotta look for it, but if you actually want more originality and new ideas, it's absolutely out there.

I don't know if that really matters. For example, Conker's Bad Fur Day was rated me, and for very good reasons. Yet, I remember all my friends, who were younger, liking it. Just because the player base is a certain age doesn't mean it should be rated for them. That being said, I can't say much about Skyrim. Idk what's in the game. But they usually explain (or try to) the rating under where the rating is on the box... But there are a lot of weird rules about rating, IIRC. That's why some stuff is rated weird...
