Oh there was a comment I missed. It says you can't "say" the name of "porn sites".

So I disputed as always cuz you know I love watching the automatic process of uphold as always. (New system is bogus).

i mean that's not true either, people have explicitly said pornhub plenty of times and that's primarily porn. patreon for the longest time was fine with 18+ content. as was tumblr. and yeah, considering cardi b just this year opened up an account for non-nude purposes the site as a whole seems to be trying to move towards a more 18+ patreon model.

This is something that is loosely enforced typically when talked about in passing. But when people abuse it and start making it topical discussion I can understand the need to crack down. GFAQs asks people to be 13+ not 18+.

The site you mentioned is definitely porn though, they basically advertise it on their main page(They use creative censorship on a few images).

You also are technically not alllowed to give people enough information to find porn on non-porn websites unless gfaqs has drastically changed policy.

Basically, it is not in GFAQs interest to be seen as a place where users lead people to those types of websites.

And again, this is generally something that is loosely enforced until people abuse it to a point you really can't look the other way. which, with as much attention as this has gotten, we've probably hit that point.

not too sure about this. the discussion in this topic made me wonder if i could get modded for saying "hey guys i'm going to upload a video of me naked on youtube tomorrow." seems pretty ridiculous. however, i don't think straight up mentioning a porn site is allowed. i'd guess the reason for those posts not getting modded is that they just didn't get marked.

seems like that is ultimately the problem with corrik's belle delphine moderation as well. though i always thought that site had plenty of non-porn shit on it too so that's pretty weird.

well no, the video literally does not exist.
when i'm saying literally nothing i'm meaning literally nothing. this content does not exist. it has not been created. there is absolutely nothing of that content anywhere.

and curious, what's "the same way" others get hit. no snark there, actual question.
there isn't, and hasn't been, a problem with the news of Cardi B starting an onlyfans with her explicitly saying no, it's not for porn and there would be no 18+ content. same goes for Bella Thorne saying that or that she was doing it for a movie. or how WWE fired Zelina Vega for having an onlyfans and that was explicitly said so, by name, in a press statement. these are topics that have existed with no problem of the name. same goes for people who'll say the site's name as a joke. or, for an entirely different site that's decisively worse, what about when people talk about and show the picture of pornhub's annual search term by state? because that's been fine too and gets talked about on every social board. there's nobody linking to porn in any of these examples, though there is mention of the sites.

and what about name changes? is OF okay instead because the name technically isn't stated?
like if it's gonna be like this, then do what gets already done for certain words: tag it in the auto-"hey you sure you wanna post this" first.
