I'm really curious how much of the increase in turnout was just Trump (about whom both sides obviously have very strong opinions) and how much of it was covid related (between more ways to vote early and the increased stakes of the election).

I remember someone suggested in a previous topic when I said both sides were like this, that nobody thought Russia literally tampered with the vote, but saw someone post this data from 2018 that suggests otherwise. And this is after two years of coming to terms with the loss. People just don't trust our elections anymore, and with good reason. We haven't done nearly enough to ensure everything is legitimate and transparent, and we called Bolivia's elections illegitimate using the same argument Trump made in ours. And many, actually most, mainstream Democrats supported that reasoning. (which was clearly always faulty, but that sort of thing gives people like Trump and the facists who did the coup in Bolivia legitimacy they should not be able to claim)

40 votes is in a range that could possibly be changed in a recount, though, unlike all of these states Trump lost!
(Of course, if there is a change it could just as easily be in the opposite direction).

I imagine that's mostly because of Trump's dumb trade war. Biden will absolutely be tougher on China than Trump with respect to human rights (which Trump did not care about at all, literally encouraging Xi to go ahead with building concentration camps)

Its not genocide without being systemic (like in China), and unless any new info has come to light I believe it was one doctor. Bluntly, if respect to human rights doesn't also involve a trade war then it's significantly weaker. China is the best at propaganda in the world, has tons of cash, and cries foul anytime they're insulted to flip aggressor and victim. you've gotta hit them in the wallet, call them out, and tell them to fuck off. So I don't believe he'll be stronger, just that he'll sound nicer, which doesn't mean a thing.

You're drawing a comparison where there is none. This is a youtuber versus actual journalists and other international observers. You really, honestly and truly, believe that the Chinese government would say "hey mr youtube guy that no one cares about our would notice go missing, feel free to report 'honestly' about the goings on in China!"
