Ail was actually just before my time began on PotD, so I've only heard tale of the legends.

To this day I call it PotD's golden age. Trolling meant something. Ail herself didn't mean to troll anyone, but merely saying anything triggered a riot from the many (usually teenaged) rabble-rousers here. That's not counting the times she tried to keep order of things she had no real power over, like some rotation of a series of topics that is no longer around. The golden age of this board started when Hellshark's shenanigans--G is always other--led to the end of topicality, and ended when the Kat Pager happened asking for Ail.

I remember the username I think, but the bulk of his activity was in my between times, so I missed all this, but I've heard reference. I laughed picturing this haha

Erik wasn't really a troll, he was just a nuisance. I generally didn't get the impression his activities were done to provoke or annoy, although they frequently did.

You mean the artist formerly known as Brisashi? I don't know if he has an opinion on whether or not Erik was merely trolling, but he did really step up after Erik left to fill his void. He took up Erik's mantle with pride, shitposting the same-style topics and then getting butthurt when somebody called him on it.

I've noticed you've stepped up your shitposting game, too. Now all you need to do is spam anti-Trump topics for weeks on end -- while linking to shitty alt-news where even then the article doesn't agree with your statement -- to join their level. I'm sure you can do it: I believe in you!

*CoolGamerMom. That one was probably my favorite over the years. Just a good Christian mom wanting to watch over her son who also posted here. You were great as CoolGamerJock, BNV. Was funny when you sent the PMs out before the account was able to post. Everyone who participated in the whole CoolGamer Family made that whole experience and then their genocide one of the best moments here.
GamerGirlz was also a lot of fun that spurred many spin offs. Anything related to that account name was KOS for quite some time.
BillyButthurt was another fan favorite that was sadly lost when I received a partial user map axe that wiped out about a dozen or so accounts.
Overall, a lot of good times here on PotD over the years.

That's a sign of a good troll! You just can't quite be sure how genuine they actually are. Good job, Zeus! I know putting your name next to OG PotDer like Ail might have got you giggling at the possibility of that "vet status" you're so fond of talking about; when I first made the title it was more for the "A to Z" aesthetic, but you're really showing a lot of effort! I mean, you don't have the most votes out of any current PotDer for nothing!

I'm pretty sure multiple people have explained why they feel you're a troll to you. I can tell you what I've gathered from my observations. Don't take this as a personal attack, but here's some of the reasons that could lead someone to think that:

-You've got radical views on meditation to the point where you claim you don't need sleep and that it could cure COVID, without offering anything substantive besides vague platitudes like "our only boundaries on reality are those we impose ourselves" (reworded for clarity).

-Your "zen" persona comes across as hypocritical when you let users like your lynch mob and Jen bother you.

-Many people find you self-righteous in your views, and this compounds the "zen" thing as coming across as hypocritical.

-Going off the last point, you seem oblivious when people try to point out when you're coming across as self-righteous or condescending. Almost like purposely oblivious.

-You claim to eat healthily, but most indicators point to you not. I mean, you're a cook at kitchen in brewery and a diner, right? And I think you've said before that you get most your meals at work? Breweries and diners aren't particular known as bastions of health food; they tend to be heavily weighted towards comfort food. I'm not judging what anyone eats, just exemplifying the impression people get.

Basically, to put it very simply as to why many people think you're a troll: the version of yourself that you claim to be and try to project is incongruent from the personality you actually display and is perceived.

I feel like she just had mental health issues and then was put in a position that was probably not appropriate considering. Like people knew they could get a reaction out of her, so they did, and then she reacted as expected.

I'm not sure anybody he accuses of being a troll is actually a troll, it's probably just his gimmick while he's trolling. The other interesting thing is numerous posters have pointed out that this TDC doesn't act like the old one, so it might could be one of the usual guys impersonating him instead of making a completely new alt for his trolling.

But really, I'm well aware 99.9% (bar notion) of people in general don't give a shit about me. If I thought people here cared about my existence I probably wouldn't have ghosted for years. But yes, as I've said on multiple occasions, including this topic: I am purposely antagonistic towards Whiskey. He's always been a dick to me and others, including encouraging users with suicidal ideation and depression to kill themselves and other heinous actions. I'm just giving him what he's sowed. He's gotten even easier enflame in his old age too!
