Like, even someone who couldn't denounce white supremacists and withholds aid in areas that think Black Lives do infact matter somehow got nearly 50% of the vote.

Or is that something I won't have to worry about seeing as how these areas will probably be perpetually under quarantine from the rest of the country seeing as how they tend to be against any sort of measure that could impede the virus.

Nashville is pretty great and the city itself is pretty liberal

I've heard Atlanta is pretty great too, but I guess that isn't a red state this time although historically it is way more than not.

I don't think I'm going to go to Disney World/Land any time soon. Literally tried to open the park in the middle of a pandemic and when the park had to be closed fucked with the low wage employees despite having enough money to buy Fox. L

Beautiful scenario across most of Utah for the most. And am strongly considering living there above most other states in the near future.

Been to numerous rural areas within red states as a African american as well and never had a issue.

Every state has areas worth visiting, and areas not worth visiting.

Texas for example. Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, all good. Rest of the state? Nooooo

Pennsylvania, you got Pittsburgh and Philadelphia on the ends, and what they call "Pennsyltucky" in the middle.

PA is usually a blue state but occasionally can swing red. Mid state is red, ends are blue.

The question is a lot more complicated than you perceive TC.

With this board it just seems like some people are actively looking for a reason not to do something

Like if someone is going to skip somewhere like Utah that has some of the best hiking and scenery in the world because of some politics then I'm not sure what to tell them

Yeah, but over Europe or Asia?

it's much cheaper to travel domestically so that's more of a finance question

I probably wouldn't recommend someone from europe to go to yellowstone, but for someone who can drive there it's well worth a road trip. Likewise with mt rushmore, if memory serves your a canuck so that probably has less value. But you still have the impressiveness of building it, the impressiveness of crazy horse still not being done, those adorable parie dogs, and some of the last remaining bison our ancestors didn't shoot to extinction.

Dallas would be a nice place to live but I don't see whats so great about visiting. Theres not necessarily nice scenery. The arboretum is nice, food is nice, shopping is pretty standard if not below standard of other major cities like SF, NY, Chicago, Miami, etc.

New Orleans is nice for a couple days. Some of the places outside of it can get third world real quick. Raw sewage, unpaved roads, no street lights, etc. Having said that, New Orleans itself isn't that much.

I bet you I could go to Omaha, NE for a drunk/foodie weekend and have a great time. You go to Nashville and see Broadway and Hatties Bs, sure it's good for that weekend visit but living there is terrible because there's nothing to do really outside that.
