Oh for sure it's not great. But in Canada we have three main parties and then 2 minor parties and they are all fairly different from each other

yeah... over here we literally had a group of "former republicans" endorse biden and it worked pretty well for them. really, after 47 years it's pretty fair to say biden presidency would fall somewhere between Clinton and Bush. he ain't going to be running a lot of it either, he'll largely defer to DNC and donors and they generally fall in that in-between as well so it works out. Harris is a snake that'll have no problem conforming to what they want to either. little will actually be different but it'll sound nicer while fundamentally changing almost nothing.

Trump already lowered the corporate tax rate during his term though so it sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. The president absolutely can affect change on taxes, even if both parties let the uber wealthy get away with everything.

If nothing fishy was going on, they wouldnt be going to court to stop the count from being watched.

Trump filed a lawsuit for his campaign to be there instead of the regular watchers. It was overturned when appealed after being granted initially.

As long Clark county ballots remain anywhere close to that ratio, Biden wins Nevada fairly easily. That one should probably be called before Arizona at this rate.

It's hard to tell, but I lean towards him actually buying into it.

sharpie one was super widespread and had a mix of people.
it doesn't change all that much from what's going to happen mind you - hand count will be demanded and used.

but as it stands what's being done right now is people are mostly looking at every possible infraction that could have happened and blowing it up. most have occurred one way (favoring Biden) so you see more of it in that direction but eventually i'm sure we'll see more from the opposite side, though much more quietly and likely tied to mail in votes.

I know most of the focus has been on the non-called states, but the rate in which votes are counted in the United States is pretty sad. Only 21/51 states (+ D.C.) have almost finished counting (99% reporting) while 15 states are still below 90% reporting.

I'm also not 100% convinced Biden has PA either. It is hard to tell exactly where all the ballots are from and how many exactly are left. I do trust the stats guys that do this for a living, but just looking at the numbers myself I'm not 100% convinced. CNN last night for example was saying they think there is only 500k left (at the time) not 700k.

Hopefully it is just paranoia on my part and more and more votes continue to come in.

Late to this, but this is the definition of unnecessary doomsaying. PA is 99% going Biden. Not sure where you got the 500k count for but its dead wrong AND Biden ratio is so high now he would win anyway even if it was true

But strangely, when Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies a month before an election (that those same conspiracy theorists assumed the Democrats were going to cheat to win), allowing a rushed replacement with an ideologically-opposed judge, not a peep about foul play.

Now, I'm in no way saying Ginsburg was murdered or anything like that. Just that it's funny how conspiracy theorists only ever seem to believe conspiracies that harm the GOP and Conservatives (nominally, but in reality would require intense precision and skill from a group STILL incompetent enough to fail in executing their conspiracy).
