We go into lockdown for a month again on Thursday. This means on Wednesday I'm going to be going to the pub and enjoy my last pints in a pub for at least a month. On the plus side one company is selling pints for 1 as stock won't keep. As for Christmas? Meh probably still be in lockdown by then. Outside of pubs and hair dressers closing nothing really changes for me though as I can still do everything I normally would do outside of that. My bro however who works in hospitality will be off work and furloughed. Yippee!

Please don't talk about that I'm really not interested in having to work a bunch of over time again. No one fucking stayed home on the last lock down don't know why anyone thinks they would for a second one.

Not formally, but the next province over that had been nearly case-free for a couple months has been battling an outbreak over the past month that has nearly doubled its total case numbers. That's got us a little on edge, especially where we do have pretty open borders with them (collectively, the Atlantic provinces have been doing well enough that they opened up free travel within that bubble a few months ago), but not to enough of an extent to start ramping up regulations again.

No. My contacts in city hall have said they may reinstate the ban on indoor dining, we are at 50% cap as long as you can maintain 6ft and only allow parties up to 4.

My breakfast job never restarted indoor dining. We are too small but we still had a $2k on Sunday in 6 hours.

The brewery has indoor dining (following all the guidelines) but are pushing our takeout.

well, technically same here but it's a little more nuanced. there is no "lockdown protocol" but there are so many restrictions in shops that make it completely unenjoyable to go out unless it's a necessity. plus, I still can't visit my aging parents (paranoid) and I can't really travel (travel bans/quarantine are still in place) and I am still working from home, so yeah I'm basically locked down except going for the occasional drive or hike, only things I can do without a stuffy mask.

Not really. Things were going so well here until maybe August or September when asshole decided "fuck it" and everything just kept getting worse month after month. They need to start putting party hosts in jail for a few weeks or fining them like $100k so that everyone is too scared to be selfish.
