That link doesn't take me to anything and I can't find a game by that name on Steam. Oo

Each of the games were a temporary thing. See if these pages let you download them using the download button in the top right corner.

It was an old April Fools game before the PC release of Bayonetta.

I actually own Nights with the analog controller for it for whichever system it was on, CD? Never played it.

My dad had it and the controller for Sega Saturn. I played the crap out of it and the special demo one.

What is this site? It's not steam, looks sketchky...

I would definitely like a bunch of the games in this list, though.

EDIT: And why do these games like Golden Axed and Streets of not even come up in a search from the actual Steam page?

Yea, it was a special controller (at the time when 'Analog' sticks was the thing for the 32-Bit/3D Systems) that was for the Sega Saturn (and around the time PSOne released their own Analog style controller)

Like stated many times in the thread, they were limited edition/timed game offers.

So now they're not even for sale, period?

And this was just days ago... PC gaming sucks.

SteamDB is a third party site that lists various data about all games on the service, including removed ones. The install links are the same as the ones used on the Steam store in your browser, and that can add some free games even after removal.

The four mini games were all temporary titles to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sega, and are no longer available within the store since the celebration has ended. SteamDB offers a bypass for them, though I haven't confirmed if the new titles will be bound to your account like 8-bit Bayonetta can be.

Why is NiGHTS, Sonic R, Daytona USA and Panzer Dragoon 1 the only Saturn games Sega seems to care about rereleasing?

Where is Clockwork Night 1 and 2 (in one package since it was split into 2 titles), Bug! 1 and Too (once again as part of one package), Burning Rangers, Mr. Bones, Astal, Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, the other Panzer Dragoon titles, and other games from that system?

If I was Sega, I would simply do something to rerelease them all. Possibly also update the visuals and make them all widescreen to make them age less bad as well.

It's just kinda weird because I *thought* I checked immediately on the day this was posted (the 18th) and couldn't find it, although maybe I didn't see the topic until the 20th.

And thanks, Delta, you're a life-saver.

Happy I could help.

@streamofthesky Would these be easier to trust?

8-bit Bayonetta
steam://install/567090

Armor of Heroes
steam://install/1368440

Endless Zone
steam://install/1368450

Streets Of Kamurocho
steam://install/1368430

Golden Axed: A Cancelled Prototype
steam://install/1368460

As long as Steam is open, those will pop open the install window for a game. Or an error for games you don't own, can't try that trick with paid games you lack. Since these were free, they should trigger anyway, and then they should be bound to your account.

Thanks for the help, Delta. Will try later.
I still think it's freaking stupid for games to vanish after just a few days w/ no (intended) recourse.

Maybe, but these were for the event only, and 8-bit Bayonetta was for April Fools. They were temporary and didn't keep that secret. Just be happy there is a bypass.

Saga is going for insane prices, always has honestly. Was easily going for $200+ about 20 years ago. Really inflated now. I think I saw it going for about $700-$1k before 2020 shit the bed.

Personally I really want to play Virtual Hydlide again tbh.

Alright, good.

Got 8 bit Bayonetta, Golden axed, and Streets of Kamurocho.

Thanks, Delta!

(btw for anyone else trying to use his 2nd set of links...do it in Internet Explorer. Wasn't working right in Firefox and apparently doesn't in Chrome, either)

The links work, just not clicky here since they aren't standard. Copy and paste works.
