I wonder if anyone has ever actually found a snake in their boot. If so, what happened? Did they put the boot on? What kind of snake was it?

When I was living in Sierra Leone I knew a handful of people who had discovered snakes in their shoes. Snakes are pretty poisonous there, so the solution is to disturb the shoe and when the snake comes out, quickly chop it many times with a machete. I never found one in my shoe, but one fell on my shoulder then bounced off and slithered away when I was walking out of my home once, and then the next day the same snake became trapped in my door frame. When I freed it, a woman walking by saw, screamed "Jesus! A snake!" Then came over chopped the snake repeatedly with the hoe she was holding. Then she threw its corpse in the bush where a bunch of chickens started eating it. Anyway, a bit of the tangent there; I'm willing to bet snakes have been found in more than one boot.

She fucked up. We don't need mutated chicken snakes.

you can't round 42 down to 40 in the case where the number cannot go backwards because what you're arguing at is time itself, and time does not have the capability to go backwards

For God's sake, you must be as old as the sun.
Your social security number is ONE.
You're deaf, dumb, and blind, and an amputee.
You donate your blood, every time that you pee.
Your arthritis acts up whenever it rains.
You're so old, your penis has varicose veins.

the rest of these are dumb, but I'd be lying if i said the majority of my old injuries didn't scream when its damp. Not quite arthritis yet, but those days are unpleasant for me for sure.

I'm as old as my bones, and a little older than my teeth. I'm still nowhere near 50.

I work hard, i play hard, i suffer the consequences of living a hard life. it is what it is. i live with it. i don't starve myself or fish for compliments because of it, fuck me, right?

as to the possibility of a snake in my boot, i live in the Hudson Valley region of NY.

in a second floor apartment, the possibility of a snake is remote period.

Garter Snakes, Corn Snakes, Timber Rattlers, and Water Moccasins are about the only possible options. i see the odd garter once in a while. I stay away from the Hudson, and most of the creeks feeding it, so the water Moccasin is ruled out. Moodna and Quasaic are nearby, but one is a piddle, and the other is an open sewer, so no wading there. there might be corn snakes on bear mountain, but I haven't been there in 3 years. That leaves the Timber Rattlers, which would piss me off about as much as a Wolf Spider, but 99% wouldn't kill me, despite my occasional hikes up Snake Hill and spy rock for the view...though i did see one hell of a Timber Rattler molt one day on the way up there. We also have an honest-to-God Crystal Lake nearby. I chuckle to myself everytime i'm in that part of town because...its crystal fucking lake.

I cannot recall if I was taught to round numbers in elementary school or middle school. During 8th grade though I was taking algebra at a near-by high school.

That just sounds like a bad mod since it shouldn't be possible to have the same exact post be modded more than once.

Basically all I've gathered from this topic is that Whiskey is depressed and doesn't have good coping mechanisms so he gets upset when other people express their depression. Like, HE wants attention for his woe is me hard life, so when other people get attention for what he perceives to be less hardship than he has faced, he gets jealous. It's okay Whiskey. You're still part of this community. You can get attention for your depression too! Just look at this topic! :))

I saw your first attempt.

Are you 42? I'm 42. I look great and feel great. Standing, moving and lifting for 60 hours a week cooking food for others is a great workout.

Plus the 12-16 oz curls at night help.

You should come pack drywall and appliances up and down stairs with me for one day if you think cooking is a workout.
