Snakes are pretty poisonous there, so the solution is to disturb the shoe and when the snake comes out, quickly chop it many times with a machete. I never found one in my shoe, but one fell on my shoulder then bounced off and slithered away when I was walking out of my home once, and then the next day the same snake became trapped in my door frame. When I freed it, a woman walking by saw, screamed "Jesus! A snake!" Then came over chopped the snake repeatedly with the hoe she was holding. Then she threw its corpse in the bush where a bunch of chickens started eating it. Anyway, a bit of the tangent there; I'm willing to bet snakes have been found in more than one boot. Holy ****.
