Well apparently the steroid is only used in patients who have more severe symptoms because it otherwise can possibly weaken the immune system of patients with more moderate symptoms. If, this is really the case then it would make no sense to give him the steroid as "care far beyond" what the common patient gets.

Are you suggesting he's getting Dexamethasone as a precaution during a mild case, because he's the president?

Dexamethasone is a only administered when necessary to reduce inflammation in more serious cases. This is because while it reduces inflammation, it also suppresses the immune system which might reduce speed of recovery, and opens up risk of secondary infections.

Considering all the bilge he's spewed, that's actually a fairly reasonable assumption. It could be that during his conscious hours, he's giving explicit instructions, telling the doctors what to do because he knows medical science than any medic OR scientist!

And he ends up ignorantly ordering his caretakers to put him out of his, their, and everyone else's misery.

Refusing Trump's insanely ignorant treatment requests would like get the physician in question fired in one of Lord Cheeto's narcissistic temper tantrums, but odds are they'd be able to find further work somewhere else (albeit at a lower pay grade). Heeding said requests - knowing full well that they'll do more harm than good and stand a solid chance of killing him because you can get that information from the Wikipedia pages for any of these drug classes - and having the president die as a result, however, would probably result in public execution, let alone career-destroying malpractice suits. Even in terms of self-interest, it's still going to be best to stick to good medical practice, rather than heeding a layperson's whims.

The only reason he, or anyone in his family, "has to" make appearances is because they see being sick as a weakness. Showing that he's not sick, even though he clearly is, is exactly that - a show. So of course he will sign an obviously blank paper with a sharpie. Of course he will do a motorcade drive-by and subject the Secret Service to the virus as they escort him as per procedure. Of course he will do more than that over the next week or two until his condition changes, one way or another. Worse yet is that of course his avid followers will eat it up as cultists are wont to do.

OhhhJa, in the pictures and videos the president looks like a corpse. He's pale, and they're sloppily editing the videos to remove the coughing, and the result makes him look like he's having painful muscle spasms

When his doctor says that he has to go on O2, that isnt a precaution. If you know anything about medicine then you would understand that people dont just get on it to prevent breathing difficulties before they happen. Its to bring oxygen saturation levels back to normal, not for already healthy lungs.

You seem to be overestimating my ability to misunderstand what youre saying. I got what you said perfectly fine. Turns out in the context of covid, the medication is used for people that have been administered oxygen. Thats my argument. And objectively, being administered oxygen for a virus that is known to cause respiratory issues in patients isnt the best sign. He may recover, he may not. Being in good spirits doesnt mean he wont nose dive into critical condition and people should be prepared for that considering his comorbidities.

I hope he recovers because I dont really wish death upon anyone, but Im just looking at facts.
