Except I never made it a big deal. In fact, I said it was a minor mistake, but a mistake nonetheless. Only that him losing his temper was a mistake that could cost him some voters (losing potential votes is a non-issue in this election? lmao ok ), and he should work to keep his temper in check next time.

You're putting words in my mouth when you liken the point I'm making to saying Biden's minor flare-up is on par with Trump's debate-long tantrum. This is yet another point I've been careful to make. Go back and actually read what I posted. You're not getting it.

Saying people don't want a low energy president. I never said they did. In fact, I said the opposite, that Biden should stand up for himself and fight back. Only that he should exercise some restraint when he does so or he runs the risk of being seen as a hot head. That is absolutely an issue to some voters. May not be an issue to you. Hell, it's not even an issue to me. But if you think there aren't people out there turned off by the language and behavior exhibited by both men, you're sorely mistaken. Biden needs all the votes he can get. He can stand up to Trump, give him hell, without resorting to schoolyard insults.

My only worry is Trump and his followers are going to cry about how the moderator of the next debate kept censoring him, even if the only time he gets silenced is when he breaks the rules and continues to interrupt Biden. Its a good rule, it should be implemented, but he will still be a bitch about it.

The microphones should be connected to a timer, with the time displayed on the screen for the audience. Their microphone turns on when the clock starts and shuts off automatically when time runs out.

The one area where Helly is better than Erik is that he doesn't spam political topics. He also avoids Erik's tendency of posting citations that actually directly refute his own claims by never fucking posting citations (although, if Helly did, he'd probably cite his ass as a source for most of his claims)

Well, I guess there are two areas since Helly isn't exclusively political whereas Erik basically was, especially by the end.

Like that'll do much. You think you can't hear Trump without a mic? Unless it's a zoom call, that mute ain't working.

And it might need to be a Zoom call, since Trump tested positive for COVID. Given that the second debate is under 2 weeks away, you couldn't possibly have him be out on that stage
