And since these franchises aren't anything close to sacrosanct in their current form, hopefully whatever fire MS's takeover can light under Bethesda's asses will only be a benefit. And as I said in another topic, this is really for your own good if you were planning on buying a future ES or Fallout game for a Sony console, considering how historically bad they've been on the PS3 and PS4 (most recently the horrendously-restrictive mod support, which I highly doubt Sony will reverse course on with the PS5). I still wonder how much more content we could have gotten for Skyrim if Bethesda hadn't wasted so much time trying to keep the PS3 version chugging. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. <cite>masterpug53 posted [p:944891747] in Microsoft ...
