Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the new graphics but it looks like they did it to reduce phone size & possibly implement things like adventurer skins easier.

Im sorta disappointed with Bistro Heroes. Not enough Bistro to be one of those restaurant manager sims, not enough Heroes to be a hero collector :<

Also, Im pissed at Square for their shitty account recovery service. I wanted to start playing Opera Omnia again, but I remembered that they discontinued Facebook binding, so my account was lost. They need all of this info to proceed:

• Rank
• Number of gems
• Number of armor tokens
• Player ID
• Date and TIME started playing
• Date last played
• Some things bought (I thought this wouldve been enough)

And a crapton of other stuff. Whats stupid is that a lot of stuff is really hard to remember. Like you pretty much need to be logged in to get that info <_<

I mean who the fuck remembers how many gems they have?? I cant think of a single game where I remember that :<

I briefly played it recently, was interesting for about 7 days, then when there were no more gems, I just kinda quit. Yeah the F2P-ness is nice but there's just way too little to it

Yeah I'm sorta just sitting on my last pile of CC monies until I decide what to do with them lol, nothing seems immediately important (though I did buy the limited LMD which in hindsight is pretty blah value but oh well)

On another note, the latest GBF event has some nice UI which they should totes implement in the main game (muh spaghetti code tho), but some of the harder missions really felt like rngfests where I was mostly being gated by dumb luck lol. To an extent I guess that's just how it is if you don't have Burger/Sox or stuff to cheese things, but a few of the boss mechanics seem shoehorned in order for the party switch mechanic to be relevant at all (Read: Fodder parties)
Still got my first two Cloud Commendations from that clownhouse so I guess I can't complain

Yeah, the main reason I didn't choose LMD (besides poor Sanity ratio) is that most farming stages take 15-18 Sanity but the LMD mission takes 30. So farming LMD is less times you have to click the mission over and over.

I liked the Tower of Babel event, good rewards and not too grindy. Some of the missions were a bit annoying but I managed to not get stuck for too long thankfully, looking forward to them adding more. And yeah, they really need to stick that UI in the game proper. I'm also looking forward to March of the Valiant, it basically sounds like Guild Wars with all the crappy competitive grinding parts taken out. Though I do wonder what element it's going to be, I ULB'd 5/6 of my Dark Opuses as of this Magfes so I'm gonna be annoyed if it's the one element I haven't done (Water).

Choco wasn't really nerfed it was two 50% prep abilities in 1 print.

We get 5 prints now though so you can combine Choco with Gentle Winds or Rogues Banquet for 100% prep if you want.

All these changes are a LOT. I spent a bit of time in Battle Royale (which is surprisingly fun, wtf) but I'll tackle...everything else...tomorrow lol.

also more rolls pls, Bagpipe banner was cruel to me and I'm worried about being able to hit pity on Weedy. Speaking of which, I think they gave out an extra 10-roll on Nian's banner to make up for the fact that the English/JP versions had shorter time between the big banners to save up rolls? Or maybe that was there in the Chinese version too.

The only one I couldn't solo was mHBH. Just couldn't quite get it right for whatever reason. But the new solo difficulty made it super easy. Also you can auto the standard difficulty dragons using 4x gold fafnir for a rate of 300k rupies per 20 stamina.

Don't reroll too hard, you need to reach AR20 before 1.1 update, whenever that is. Took me about a week in the beta, but it should go much faster if you know what you're doing.

They made the grind worse as time went on lol. The meta also haven't changed much since I last stopped playing.

But iirc you sorta stopped before the ramp up. There's a big hump to try to clear the hunts to get better gears, and once you get over that hump, it's incredibly fun, then it starts wearing you out. Once you get to Abyss 90, you're probably already done with the game and about to uninstall

I've been wondering if I should give Opera Omnia a try, that or Record Keeper.

But then I remember how much I hated Brave Exivus and War of the Visions and figure I should just ignore further Final Fantasy gacha games. (Though supposedly my problem with the FFBE series might be a problem with Gumi specifically, which is something FFOO and FFRK don't have working against them.)

I have 5/6 ULB Dopus now, though I got like half of my Luci eggs from in-crew runs and half from a cheese discord. I prefer the crew runs even if they fail half the time, the carry runs move at the speed of sound so you barely get to experience the fight. Getting to 30k HP is actually pretty easy nowadays though with Awakening and all the weapon/summon uncaps lately.

Though aside from the Luci clears and the giant stack of other materials (Astaroth Anima in particular suck), keep in mind you also need a lot of Blue Grails to actually level the weapon to lv 200, which is necessary to unlock the 3rd skill. I've only been uncapping them during Magfes because it takes so many, the Journey Drop boost is pretty essential.

also my problem is that I don't have an immediate use for the Pride of the Ascendant rewards, though I could always ring Vikala I guess.

Yeah HPwise I don't have to try too hard for Fire (Though feels like most fire HL content is cheesable with Draco Harp anyway so it's not a real priority) but it's more that for Water and Dark I'm still kinda waiting on transitioning to Primal and the prospect of farming Aubs/Stix just to toss most of them later is making me sit on that for now lol, plus yeah looking at all the extra mats needed is just uuugh
As an aside why is Varuna the only Optimus that's a gril (Aside from half of Zephyrus I guess) and everyone else is some fugly doodbag, that's like lowkey half the reason I'm willing to go Varuna lol
Speaking of Zephyrus it's kinda funny how Magna Wind has actually caught up to the HP advantage part of Zeph lately, although I guess usable 100k HP memes are still Zeph territory. On the other hand, I still don't even have a spoon (Or any of the Magna 2.5 weapons) even while hosting during the rate-ups so rip

It's fun but Zelda killer it is not. I am not a fan of how the game constantly stops to show cutscenes. BotW had only a tiny amount of cutscenes. I get that they wanted a more complex story but it's not really paying off IMO.
