I stopped playing Dragalia Lost before the pandemic hit. I got back to Walking Dead No Man's Land after 3 years going by my last battle on outpost. It says 1,303 days ago. I'm also playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, CoD and Darkness Rises. I might get rid of those games except Yu-Gi-Oh! depending on how well Xbox service works on phones.

Heey been a while since I've been in these topics. I quit Dragalia Lost a good handful of months back, was tired of the endgame equipment big ol' grind that you have to do in co-op, who are all meta whores. The anniversary is in a couple of weeks and I picked it back up since they're hinting at some pretty big grind changes in the anniversary update, so I guess we'll see!

Other than that, I'm pretty excited for Project Sekai on the 30th. Think Bang Dream, but Hatsune Miku. I was looking forward Genshin Impact but the more I read about the rates and dupe system (mostly it's the dupe system) I question if I'll even enjoy it outside of the world and console-like gameplay.

Most of the end game stuff in Dragalia Lost is done solo at this point, the balance changes will probably make it easier to do so.

Yeah, some friends told me how it's soloable after you get well established in it. But crossing from pre-endgame to good foothold in endgame is where my beef was, really. I was still at the stage where I needed to grind the high dragons and I just hated it. It doesn't help that I've always been more of a curmudgeon with co-op content in any game.

Most people these days recommend skipping the high dragons and going straight to Agito. The weapons are better and the fights are easier. Then use the Agito weapons to slaughter the high dragons.

Most people in co-op don't care about meta slaving for expert. Master is a bit of a different story.

I thought about trying that out, depending on the song selection. Then again, I'm generally not very good at rhythm games. I tried Bandori a while ago and couldn't even clear some of the songs on medium, much less higher difficulties than that.

Based on the gameplay I've seen of this, my phone would probably spontaneously combust if it tried playing that. I heard a rumor that a Switch version might be in the works, so if that happens, I'll try it out. But until then, no way.

Oh, is it? I'll look into Agito, then. Right now I'm just playing super casually, like 10-20 minutes a day while I wait for update news. To my pleasant surprise this new (to me, anyway) defensive event was incredibly easy to max out so that helped with the chill vibe.

They really can be challenging. With Bang Dream, I just stuck with the difficulty I was most comfortable with and have fun playing new songs.

Had to borrow someone's souped-up Silverdad and run Nian instead of Hellagur
Team also actually had a lot of M3s so I don't know how feasible this actually is for the average player
Albeit there's no real prize for getting a week 1 18 run done anyway, think they'll have something minor for the next event though.

It's also a bit of a running joke, there was a paratrooper in Anni3 who straight up lands in a chute too
There are quirky easter eggs in other maps too, like the two agents running away from the fire slug boss in the beach event

Managing to borrow a 4* Princess Long Ji was also clutch Heat Ray tech though, the last 20% where his only ougi is Heat Ray was down to the wire especially since aside from Djeeta my party pretty much didn't have hp to tank one of those even under 70% cut lol

I decided to stay up for the reset to do my Colette pulls. I did a total of 220 pulls across both my main account and my alternate account. I pulled 74 SR's, 4 SSR's... and none of them were Colette. So I'm out. I'm done. I quit. I disbanded the guild I made (I think some people from the last topic were in it) and immediately uninstalled Tales Of Crestoria.

I'm down to only one now, Revue Starlight ReLIVE. I think the last time I was only playing one gacha was actually when I was playing my very first gacha, Fire Emblem Heroes, before I picked up any others. There are a couple of upcoming Japanese releases that I'll keep an eye on, but besides maybe the Miku game, there's nothing else with an imminent English release that I'm interested in.

I envy you Cal. I have 8 games that I'm playing daily, only 2-3 which I actually enjoy. I like Kingdom of Heroes, Arknights, and occasionally GFL. The other games I've put money into and would feel bad about dropping them, so I feel obligated to do the daily missions. Although I'm still sort of hoping The Alchemist Code or Tales of Erin could get some good collabs again. They've had stuff like BlazBlue, FFXV, Fate, Disgaea, and Attack on Titan. But once I pick up those games they're like lol no more big collabs

Of course, there's no telling if any of those games will be compatible with my device until *after* they release, as the case was with Pokemon Masters and Digimon ReArise back then.

I have a phone that's capable of playing those two now, but I don't know if they're worth getting into anymore.

Im currently playing Azur Lane, Destiny Child, and Magicami SFW

Azur Lane is having a major event starting tomorrow to coincide with the JP third anniversary and for the first time includes a UR ship in the event pool (rip our cubes). She also has a pity system and new type of limit break material just for her (so far). A new type of ship, munitions ship, is also being introduced. I have no idea what they do gameplay-wise lol.

I mostly play Destiny Child because it feels nice to be showered with free rolls (I have about 25 10-roll tickets I havent touched atm). The story can be interesting at times, but Ive hovered around quitting for a few months now.

Im probably going to quit Magicami. Not because of the censorship stuff some people have complained about (personally I couldnt care less about mosaics. Ive been reading VNs for over a decade off and on), but because I constantly feel underpowered especially compared to other pvp teams, which is something I only do because it gives gems, and there is a two entry a day fight that blows 40 of my 53 energy (tow fights at 20 each). It wouldnt be so bad if they released the SFW app as I could do it on my iPhone when Im not at home, but it makes it so I cant do much else in game in the limited amount of time I have on PC. I did like the story released at the moment and the ending of it gives a good enough stopping point that I dont think the unanswered questions would be enough to draw me back if I quit.

Meh, they don't look very interesting to me. It's very difficult for a gacha game that isn't tied to a franchise I like to actually hook me. Girls Frontline is the only one I played for more than two months.

Mist Train Girls is out. Same staff (scenario writer?) and systems as Priconne, because everything has to be a Priconne clone these days.

Hopefully its less annoying to run compared to Djibril (which Ill probably have to drop at this point since its going P2W for its most popular characters).

As for Priconne, Halloween rerun with the Little Lyricals drops in a few hours. Free Halloween Misogi, which would complete the trio for me. Halloween Mimi isnt free, but isnt limited. Halloween Kyouka is limited and goes away from gacha in a few days, but I already have her.

Oh hellllll no. The first stages in Idola say "Law party only". Does this carry on later in the game too where you can only use Law or Chaos characters in some stages? Because if there's one thing that I absolutely DESPISE in games, it's being forced to use certain characters/being kept from using my favorites.

But now the difficult part begins. The point requirements for grinding the event to get and max out the free Karen (the main reason why I was excited for this event in the first place) are through the roof because she's a 4-star and not a 3-star like most event freebies. I saved up every bit of stamina I could for two whole weeks and I even paid $8 in real money to get the Stamina Passport (which is an extra 500 free stamina every day for a month) to make absolutely sure I have enough stamina to get the event points I'll need. Time to pull an all-nighter and grind, grind, grind.

Putting non-characters in the gacha can go fuck its self.
Menu UI is a cluttered clusterfuck.
Combat is meh.
And maybe I'm just crazy, but I was expecting a game with "Phantasy Star" in the title to look and feel like Phantasy Star, but so far its just been generic fantasy shlock. Even the main hero and heroine are painfully droll, and none of the other characters are holding my attention either.

I think this game now holds the record for "shortest lived install" by not even surviving 12 hours. (For comparison, War of the Visions at least lasted 3 days.)

Yeah Idola is pretty trash. It's even more absurd how much space the game takes up, which is reason enough for me to uninstall it. I'll probably keep it around until the next new gacha releases since I'm not playing much currently, but this was a pretty big disappointment.

Start farming b the shit out of item dungeon in GT folks. Korea patch introducing a dismantle system for 5 equipment. A legend 5 gives 30 magic metal. Trade 300 magic Metal for a random unique EX (5 I'm guessing) and trade 100 magic metal for a random legend Ex (4 I'm guessing)

Ex gives far more with a 5 ex dismantle for 300 and 4 dismantle for 100.

Since events basically just give you 4 ex for free, you can spend 250k gold to evolve them and cash them into a unique ex instead.

The ones that let you pick a non-limited SSR (aka Surprise Ticket) are pretty good value but the ones that give you a random one (aka Scam Gacha) are not. The way that you can spend money and get something good guaranteed instead of a chance at something good is something I like about it relative to other gachas. That and the spark system.

damn, nice. I did it up to risk 5 just to try it, but I think I'll wait until I have the full set of conditions unlocked before going up to 18. And yeah, I thought of the Anni 3 guy, but never noticed guys running away from the fire blob lol

I do kind of want to level FEater, but at the same time I already have Shaw E2'd and I definitely don't want to invest a bunch of resources into her on the offchance I roll Weedy later. In retrospect I probably should've just leveled FEater in the first place but oh well.

I like the not-Kyaru but apparently the rates are absolute trash so I don't want to get too excited.

And yeah, Mirror Image absolutely wrecks Wilnas. I run Runeslayer for my solo clears for that specific reason and it's a little slow but pretty safe even with no Euro/Lily.

Yeah, that one. tl;dr is essentially they nerfed the best freebie characters and nerfed the amount of gacha currency you get. As a free player and going by the current known amount, for example, you can save enough for your pity 5* character after a year and a half.
